This heart chakra meditation helps you amplify feelings of love and healing. The intention behind this meditation is to empower you to experience and extend compassion, kindness and forgiveness to yourself and others. Welcome,

Friends.

I'm Meg Burton-Tudman,

And I'm so grateful you're here.

For today's heart-opening guided meditation,

I invite you to position yourself comfortably,

Seated or laying down,

With your spine long.

And once you're settled,

Gently soften or close your eyes,

And draw your focus to your breath.

Begin to deepen your inhales and exhales,

Breathing in fully through your nose,

And following that with a sigh out your mouth.

Again,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

And follow that with a sigh.

Feel your belly rise as you breathe in,

And feel your belly fall as you breathe out.

Breathe in again.

Allow yourself to receive that fresh air,

That life force,

That energy.

And as you breathe out,

Allow yourself to release.

Let go a little bit more.

Continue to breathe deeply and steadily.

Notice your belly rise,

Your ribs spread,

And your heart lift.

Now guide your focus to the center of your chest,

To your heart,

Your chakra of self-development and unconditional love.

Gently draw your awareness to your heart and imagine it in all its glory and all its vulnerability.

See its scars from heartache.

See its gray areas from being shut down.

See its chains trying to keep you safe.

Continue to breathe deeply and steadily,

And direct your breath right into your heart chakra.

Gently breathe into your heart,

Letting it soften and expand with each breath.

Invite in the color green,

The color of renewal and spring,

And bathe your heart center with nourishment,

Healing,

And peace.

As you continue to breathe deeply and imagine that part of your body filled with green,

See those scars softening and fading.

See those gray areas calming and disappearing,

And see those chains breaking and dissolving.

From the beautiful chamber of your heart,

Imagine that that green healing energy and light spreads from your heart center to your body.

It is warm and comforting and safe.

It reaches down your torso to your hips and pelvis.

That green color continuing down in between each of your legs to the tips of your toes,

And it also extends down each arm to the tips of your fingers.

That light continues to expand as it reaches up through your chest and into your neck,

Head,

And face,

Filling you from the inside out with nourishment,

With healing,

With peace.

Pause for a moment and breathe deeply.

Imagine that field of green,

Loving energy extending from your heart out into your energy field,

And then into your space,

Your town,

Your country,

And all the way across the planet.

Rest in this peace.

Take another deep cleansing breath in through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

And I invite you to repeat the following to yourself,

Either out loud or in your mind.

May I be love.

May I give an abundance of love.

May I receive an abundance of love.

May I honor the guidance of my heart.

May I be worthy and deserving of love.

May I live with gratitude and generosity.

May I make decisions from a place of love.

May I forgive myself.

May I forgive others.

May I love myself unconditionally.

May my heart be open.

Exhale deeply and exhale completely.

Now think of someone you love and repeat the following.

May you be love.

May you give an abundance of love.

May you receive an abundance of love.

May you honor the guidance of your heart.

May you be worthy and deserving of love.

May you live with gratitude and generosity.

May you make decisions from a place of love.

May you forgive yourself.

May you forgive others.

May you love yourself unconditionally.

May your heart be open.

Take another deep inhale.

And when you're ready,

Follow that with a complete exhale.

Now think of humankind,

Interconnected across the globe and repeat the following.

May we be love.

May we give an abundance of love.

May we receive an abundance of love.

May we honor the guidance of our hearts.

May we be worthy and deserving of love.

May we live with gratitude and generosity.

May we make decisions from a place of love.

May we forgive ourselves.

May we forgive each other.

May we all love unconditionally.

May our hearts be open.

Inhale deeply.

And exhale completely.

Take another moment to bask in that healing,

Loving,

Peaceful energy.

And when you're ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Allow that subtle movement to guide you back to this time and space.

And when you're ready,

Gently flutter your eyelids back open.
