Close your eyes and welcome a deep breath into your body through the nose,
Feeling the air in the stream,
Through your throat,
Opening your chest,
And breathing out,
And every breath you welcome this flow into your body,
You start softening your body,
Your muscles,
Any tension,
Let it all melt away,
And with every breath you feel your body is getting a little warmer,
And with this warmth you relax,
You're softening,
Sending this warm flow of air through your entire body,
Breathing in and out extra slowly,
So that our nervous system can relax,
Our body can take in all this oxygen,
And all this relaxation.
As you come to presence with yourself today,
Maybe for the first time today,
You feel your body,
Bodily sensations,
Let go of any heaviness,
And return to your body,
Sense your breathing,
How your chest expands and contracts,
Maybe you can feel the beating of your heart,
And the palms of your hands,
Sense the sole of your feet,
And as you feel,
You relax,
You take a moment for yourself,
We're going to imagine ourselves somewhere very cozy,
Somewhere where we feel at home,
Somewhere where we feel we belong,
Where we are at home,
This can be anywhere,
It can be in nature,
It can be in a cabin,
In the woods,
In front of a fireplace,
Wherever you feel most comfortable,
Cozy,
And as you imagine yourself there,
Look around,
You hear different sounds,
Familiar sounds,
Get your feet,
Eyes to surface,
Underneath you,
Maybe you're wearing some comfortable warm clothes,
Maybe you're wearing something else,
You go around this place until you find somewhere you can sit,
Or you can lay down,
It can be on the floor somewhere,
Inside a tree,
A chair,
A sofa,
Wherever feels the most inviting to you,
This place welcomes you in,
Tucks you in,
As if you were a child,
And as you sit or lay here,
On the surface,
Comfortable,
Cozy,
You feel how you start wrapping yourself,
Maybe in blankets,
Maybe it is in golden light,
Maybe it's in silk or any other material,
Until you're completely wrapped in a cocoon,
In which you feel super held,
Comfortable,
Cozy,
Warm,
And let yourself for a few moments be held,
Be wrapped up in comfort,
There's nothing that's expected of you,
Nothing that you have to do,
Just be here,
Held inside this comfortable cocoon,
Feel how your muscles relax even more,
How does it feel to be so whole,
Maybe it's been a long time since you felt whole,
By someone,
By life,
Let yourself completely embrace this moment,
Receive the support,
And as you find your comfortable place in the cocoon,
In front of you,
All the different images and scenes appear in front of your eyes,
Everything that you experienced this year,
As it was a kind of map,
And you could scroll through all the memories,
All the feelings,
All the dreams completed,
Alas,
All the love that you felt,
Moments of gratitude,
Also all the lessons you learned this year,
Moments that felt hard,
That you overcome,
That maybe at that moment you felt you couldn't go anymore,
Now you're on the other side,
I want you now to have a moment with yourself to see what this year was all about,
Take a pause and observe,
Stand still on everything that it brought you,
Everything you accomplished,
How you grew as a person,
In all the areas of your life,
There's no judgment here,
Just observation,
Take a moment,
Be really really proud of the person that you are today,
The person that you grew in,
The person that you are becoming day after day,
Choice after choice,
Experience after experience,
A life filled with riches,
And maybe by sensing all of these experiences,
Memories,
Feelings,
Have this ego view of what this year meant to you,
What did it bring into your life,
Maybe now in this cocoon of safety and comfort,
You can finally see,
Connect the dots,
Let's take this moment to show ourselves compassion,
We have a difficult time seeing the highlights,
We are still going through the midst of it,
We will do this,
Reciting out loud mantras in Hawaiian,
We are going to say out loud in our mind,
We are going to repeat them 6 times,
Remind ourselves to live in compassion,
Gratitude and love for ourselves,
The 4 phrases are I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
I love you,
Now let's start by saying this 6 times in our mind,
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you,
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you,
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
Take it all in,
All the emotions,
All the feelings,
Let it all be this cocoon,
Hold space for everything that happened this year,
Hold space for all the versions of you that were birthed this year,
How you started and how you are right now is not the same person,
The version that you are today,
With devotion,
With respect,
With love,
With gratitude,
Maybe from this energy there is anything that you want to say to yourself or to all the versions of you this year,
Take a moment now,
And whenever you are ready to emerge out of your cocoon,
Back into the place of comfort and safety,
Maybe you've already seen her,
But you,
From the future,
From one year ahead,
She's waiting for you,
She extends her hand to welcome you,
To look at you with so much love and pride,
She holds you in her arms,
And you hug,
And take a look at how she feels,
How she looks,
And if there's anything that you,
From one year ahead,
Wants to tell you,
Take last moments together with her,
And you will see her in one year,
And as you leave this place,
Feel how it all melts together into your body,
All the versions,
All the stories,
Memories,
Experiences,
Become part of you,
Are part of you,
And you can store them inside of your body,
In any place that you want,
This is going to be 2024,
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Welcoming back the air into our lungs,
The awareness of our body,
And as you breathe in,
Little by little,
You start feeling again the air close against your skin,
The surface that you're sitting or laying upon,
And you come back into awareness,
A room,
Moving your hands slowly,
Your feet,
Take as many breaths as you need,
To slowly come back,
And open up your eyes again.
