This ultra-short essay on emptiness creates a sensation of spaciousness. It merges the perceived and perceiver as one guided by intention the essence of free will. Yet, like the pasta machine guided by templates, the mind is influenced by filters, channeling thoughts into particular feelings, sensations, or ideas.

In the realm of Buddhist philosophy,

A profound insight emerges.

The perceiver and the perceived are intertwined,

Like wisps of the same ephemeral substance.

They're all empty,

Devoid of inherent essence.

Delving deeper,

We find that thoughts,

Those elusive constructs,

Are akin to mind waves continually ebbing and flowing.

Just as the perceived thoughts are mere mind waves,

So too is the perceiver,

The thinker of those thoughts.

Both are but different facets of the same fluid mental landscape,

Devoid of substance beyond the causes and conditions that shape them.

This parallel can be likened to physical objects composed of material held together by energy waves akin to the mental memory bond binding thoughts.

To embrace this understanding,

One must release the shackles of old karmic thoughts,

Let them unfurl on the screen of consciousness,

And you shall become the screen itself,

Detached from the players on it.

The analogy of a pasta maker offers clarity.

Just as it incessantly produces pasta,

The mind churns out a myriad of thoughts.

Yet,

Like the pasta machine guided by templates,

The mind is influenced by filters channeling thoughts into particular feelings,

Sensations,

Or ideas.

Herein lies the crux.

Your free will allows you to adjust the templates,

Altering the interpretation of thoughts.

However,

It's important to recognize that the shaping of thoughts is also influenced by the undercurrent of karma,

A powerful force.

Yet,

At the core,

The apex of free will rests in the wispy realm of intention,

The primary factor from which everything flows,

Much like the pasta takes shape from the intention of its different textures and flavors.
