Good evening.
Thank you so much for joining me for this Mind the Pain mindfulness meditation,
Aimed at reducing the stress,
Pain,
And anxiety caused by endometriosis.
Hopefully life wasn't too annoying or uncomfortable today,
And there were some nice moments that you can lean into,
But either way,
We'll make sure it turns around for you now,
Because you're amazing and you deserve to feel good more.
We'll begin by finding a comfortable position,
Preferably lying down,
Allowing your body to relax and your mind to slowly settle.
When you're ready,
I invite you to gently close your eyes if you feel comfortable doing so,
And we'll begin by taking a nice deep breath in through your nose,
And a nice slow exhale out,
Releasing all the tension and stress from your body.
Take this deep,
Calming breath a few more times,
Letting each exhale carry away any stress or worries as we arrive in the stillness.
Allowing your breath to return to its natural rhythm,
We'll bring your attention to the gentle rise and fall of your chest,
And with each breath,
Feel your body becoming more relaxed,
More at ease,
Melting into the surface below you.
And while we're here,
I invite you now to imagine yourself in a peaceful and calming meadow,
On a gorgeous,
Warm night,
And don't worry,
I did a sweep of the place already,
It's completely safe.
The air is cool and fresh,
Filled with the scent of wildflowers and lavender in the breeze.
The sky above you is a deep,
Velvety black,
Shining bright with countless twinkling stars.
As the moon shines brightly down on you,
Casting a soft glow over you and the meadow.
Laying down on the soft,
Warm grass,
Looking up at the star,
Feel completely safe and supported by the earth beneath you,
Connecting to its healing energy,
The stars above dancing and shimmering,
Filling you with a sense of pure calm and tranquility.
And as you lay safely in this magical meadow we've stumbled upon,
You suddenly start to notice beautiful fireflies and their tiny points of light beginning to appear around you,
Watching their delicate wings,
Carrying them gracefully through the night,
As they flicker and glow,
Creating a dance of light all around you.
As you watch the fireflies,
Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment,
Feeling the gentle warmth of their light.
We'll just focus now on any areas of the body that are experiencing pain,
Anxiety,
Or tension.
Maybe it's your lower back,
Stomach,
Or another part of your body that's flaring from your Wherever you feel discomfort,
Just gently and softly direct your awareness there.
And as you breathe deeply in and out,
Witness the fireflies gathering around those areas of pain and tension,
Their soft,
Golden light illuminating your skin where you feel pain.
And don't worry,
It's not a neurotoxin or anything,
I've checked.
And as they land gently on the areas of discomfort,
Feel their warmth spreading through you and your entire body,
Focusing on the healing glow as it begins to absorb the pain,
Drawing it out of your body with every exhale.
With each breath you take,
Feel the light growing brighter,
Witnessing the pain and tension melting away,
Replaced by a soothing,
Comforting sensation.
The fireflies taking away your discomfort,
Leaving you with a sense of lightness,
Feeling a profound sense of peace and comfort wash over you after a long day,
Your mind and body completely at ease.
As the fireflies finish working their magic,
Watch as they lift off gently and continue their dance through the night,
A beautiful symbol of how light always breaks through no matter how dark life is.
And as you prepare to gently drift into sleep,
I want you to bring your attention back to your breath by taking a deep inhale in and a nice slow exhale out,
Allowing yourself to sink deeper into your bed,
Feeling the weight of your body supported and cradled.
Know that you are safe,
You are loved,
And you are at peace,
Dear one.
In this moment,
Everything is as exactly as it should be,
And the universe always has your back.
Good night,
Ori.
Hope you have a beautiful,
Restful sleep.
