Hello and welcome.
Let's just begin by getting you as comfortable as possible,
Either sitting up straight or lying down cozy in bed.
I invite you to close your eyes if you like,
Or keep an unfocused gaze in front of you,
Whichever you prefer.
And just gently feel your head shoulders,
Belly,
And full body slowly relaxing and letting go.
We'll just start by taking a deep breath in through your nose.
And an extra quick inhale to fill all the way up.
And a nice long exhale out.
One more time,
Deep breath in through the nose.
And an extra quick inhale to fill all the way up.
And a nice long exhale out.
When we've suffered with chronic pain for so long,
It's very normal to feel so frustrated and angry about it.
You so deserve relief.
And that's exactly what we're going to do today.
I promise.
It's science.
So as you breathe in and out,
I want you to just notice the wholeness of your body in this moment.
Feel it relaxing and loosening.
With every breath in and out.
And just witness a beautiful sunbeam shining down on your whole body.
Don't worry,
There's no harmful UV rays here,
So just go on and soak it in.
And we'll just gently witness the sunlight on your feet.
Feeling them soften and let go.
And just watch any sensations that form here from the relaxation.
Just watch as the sunlight shines down on your knees,
Relieving any tightness and softening them.
Gently breathing in and out.
We'll just watch as the sunbeam shines down on your back and pelvis.
I'm so sorry if there's any pain or tension in these areas,
But we'll work together now to get you feeling so much better.
So just take another deep breath in,
And watch as it wraps around the sensations.
And as you breathe out,
Just notice if there's a color or shape to the sensations.
Not labeling the sensation as good or bad.
Just see it without judgment,
As truly hard as this can be.
Watch as the color and shape changes and moves,
Moment to moment,
With each breath in and out.
Just stay here for a second,
Noticing the sensations starting to let up,
Slowly and gently,
As we witness how the color and shape transforms them.
See the bright sunbeam fully form over the sensations,
Absorbing them and releasing them out of the body with every exhale.
We'll just move up to your heart.
Feel it radiating with so much compassion for what you've been suffering with.
You never deserved it.
So just watch as your heart,
Beat by beat,
Fills you with a feeling of relaxation and calm.
Just like you so need and deserve.
We'll just allow the sunbeam to soak up any tension in our neck and shoulders.
Just watch as the shoulders loosen and fall from your ears.
Witness the sunbeam on your beautiful face,
Allowing the brow to soften and the jaw to loosen and let go.
Just place a gentle smile on your face,
Hopefully feeling the good feels now that the pain is starting to finally dissipate.
Stay here in this moment and watch as your entire body is now engulfed in the sun,
Feeling a lightness wash over you.
You're safe here.
We'll just arrive back to the room with a nice slow deep inhale in and a long exhale out.

We'll wiggle the fingers and toes,
Do a nice gentle stretch and slowly open your eyes.
