Hello and welcome to this meditation where we are going to focus on letting go of what no longer serves us and really getting ready for new beginnings.
New beginnings,
New chapters,
New pages,
New jobs,
New families,
New situations,
New whatever,
New whatever is in your life at this moment.
I want you to find a comfortable position first of all where you can lie down,
You can sit upright,
Whatever you do I would love you to have a straight back and be a little bit open with your body so that you are open to whatever you can receive.
Either that is with your palms facing outwards and up or that's with your chest facing upwards and out.
Slowly try and centre yourself and find that calm within your body.
Close your eyes and slowly start to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Take some good deep breaths here where you really nourish yourself and you can really hear your breath.
Take your time and inhale slowly and exhale slowly.
On your next exhale I would like you to really open your mouth and just sigh everything out and let go.
Always let go of whatever is inside you,
Whatever you are holding onto,
Just let it all go.
Bring your breath back to a normal breath,
Just let it flow in and out like it normally does.
Now I want you to try and focus on whatever your new beginning might be,
It might be something you know about,
It might not be,
But I want you to let whatever feelings and whatever thoughts come and just let them come to you now.
Maybe you are fearful of something,
Nervous,
Excited,
Happy,
Let all those feelings and thoughts come and let this really be your time to just bring it all out,
To fall on the table,
Put it all there.
What are you nervous about in this new beginning?
What are you happy,
Hopeful about?
What are you excited about?
What are you fearful about?
Give yourself permission to feel these feelings and think all these thoughts.
It's okay if you cry,
It's okay if you laugh or smile or get really confused,
Just be okay with whatever comes up for you and don't judge here,
Yeah?
No judgement towards any feelings or thoughts that you may have at this time,
Just let it all come and be okay with it all coming up.
Take a few moments more here,
Just be really clear about everything and if it's unclear that's okay too but be clear about it being unclear,
Just have it all there.
Now I want you to come back to your breath if you're not already there,
Breathing in through your nose and letting go all these feelings and thoughts out through your mouth.
Breathing in through your nose and exhale through the mouth,
Let it go.
One more time,
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth,
Let it go.
Let your mind be quiet,
Let your mind be still.
Let your feelings and thoughts come and go,
If they come up again that's okay,
No judgement.
But let them go.
Let the calmness and the peace wash over you now that you've let go of all those thoughts and all those feelings about this new beginning,
About this new chapter,
About this new stage of your life that you're uncertain about.
Let it all go and surrender to the trust of what's about to come into your life,
Whatever this is.
Surrender to yourself,
Surrender to the new beginning,
Surrender to the unknown,
Surrender to the universe.
Bring your breath back to a calm breathing,
Your normal breath in and out through your nose or mouth.
Let the calmness light you up and wash over you.
As new and fresh breath goes into your body and with every exhale letting go of anything you don't need anymore,
Inhaling new beginnings and new fresh starts,
Exhaling what no longer serves you,
Just let it go.
If your thoughts come back just let them go again,
It's okay,
You're okay.
You're ready for this new start,
You're ready for this new quest,
You're ready for this new journey,
You are ready for this new beginning.
In the unknown lies possibilities,
Growth,
The chance for you to evolve,
Learn and yes it might be hard and yes it might be painful at times but there'll also be growth and a chance to find compassion and love in all that you do and all that you surround yourself with.
Let the possibilities be endless,
Let your growth be endless,
Let your compassion and strength be endless.
Trust yourself,
You are ready.
Trust that you know what to do,
Trust that you know how,
Trust that you know when,
You are ready.
Bring your attention to your heart space in your chest and put your hand on your chest or your heart and give yourself the compassion and the acknowledgement that you need,
You are ready for this new beginning.
Know that you can come back to this place anytime,
Know that you can come back to this feeling anytime and know that you can work with yourself in whatever feels hard or painful and try and lift to a place of excitement.
When you are ready you can bring your consciousness back to your breath,
Take a few deep breaths here.
Bring your consciousness back to yourself,
To the room or to the outdoors,
To all the noises you may hear and very slowly open your eyes and have a look around and smile because you are already in the new beginning and you are ready.
