This session invites you to discover what happens when meditation becomes a happening rather than a doing. You'll explore: - Releasing the need to achieve or become anything through meditation - Discovering effortless awareness that's already present - Finding peace in the space between wanting and having - Learning to be free in this moment, exactly as you are No experience necessary. Just bring your willingness to let go of all expectations and discover the profound freedom that emerges when you stop trying to get somewhere and simply rest in being here. Best enjoyed with eyes closed, in a comfortable position where you won't be disturbed.

Let your eyes be closed.

Let go of the itch to multitask during this session.

Be fully here.

Make yourself as comfortable as possible.

You don't want nagging thoughts about some pain and discomfort here and there because your mind will be preoccupied by those thoughts all the time.

Relieve this moment from wanting anything,

From achieving anything,

From becoming anything.

This meditation is not a means to an end.

Let all beginning and ending dissolve in this moment.

You coming here was the wanting.

Now that you are here,

Stay here.

Recognize that all my words are being understood effortlessly without any active effort.

The listening of the words,

The understanding of the meaning of my words and the subsequent actions based on that understanding is completely effortless,

Simply happening.

We are addicted to doing something and in that addiction even meditation becomes a doing.

Offer this tendency to this moment and simply be.

This goalless endeavor is one of the hardest things that our mind can face because everything we do is for a reason with a goal in mind and it almost always leaves us disappointed at best or frustrated,

Angry and unfulfilled at worst,

Suffering in short.

See if you can notice this restlessness in yourself right now.

This compulsion to do something,

To achieve something or to get something.

We are not controlling our thoughts,

We are not violently resisting or suppressing our feelings either.

We are just noticing.

There's no preference towards whatever is happening.

Whatever is happening,

Let it happen.

Whatever you are hearing,

Feeling,

Thinking,

Hearing,

It's all okay.

Don't interfere with it and don't allow it to interfere with you.

Be free in this moment.

There is no getting something out of this meditation.

This meditation is not an act of doing.

See that it's a happening and in this happening we discover our deepest freedom to simply be.

See,

As you sit here,

Notice that there is space for you to be and for everything else to be just the way it is.

And this can be found in any and every moment and when you are ready,

You can open your eyes and carry this freedom with you.

Thank you.
