Welcome to today's grounding meditation with affirmations.

I invite you to find a comfortable position,

Whether that be lay or sat.

I wish for you to find comfort,

Relax your body and mind and allow yourself to bring all of your focus inwards.

Take a slow deep inhale,

Allowing the stomach to expand,

The rib cage to open and the top of the chest to inflate.

Holding the breath at the top for just a moment,

Allow the mouth to drop open and the breath to roll out over the lips as if water rolling over the edge of a waterfall.

Now taking one more cleansing breath,

Just the same,

Slow and deep inhale,

Cleaning the air,

Nourishing your body and allowing it all to gently fall out from the mouth,

Pulling in the stomach to push the final drops of air over the edge.

Now returning the breath to its normal cycle in and out the nose,

Just taking a couple of breaths here.

With the following affirmations,

I invite you to speak either within the mind or out loud.

It's your choice.

As you inhale,

I wish for you to speak the words I am,

I am,

And as you exhale,

Speak alive,

Alive.

And again,

Inhale,

I am and exhale the words connected.

Inhale the words I am and exhale the words present.

Inhale I am,

Exhale safe.

Cycling through these affirmations again as you speak the words,

Feel the energy and power of them penetrate through every single cell of your body.

When you're ready,

Repeating after me,

I am alive.

I am connected.

I am present.

I am safe.

And for the final time once again,

Placing a strong belief into the words that you are saying.

I am alive.

I am connected.

I am present.

I am safe.

Taking the power of these affirmations into the rest of your day and life.

Repeat them when you feel the need to be connected and grounded.
