This visualisation meditation was created through my own need to redefine my connection with the universe; I also felt the need to create some space and expansion through my mind and my body. We may feel at times that we experience unwanted change, but we can remind ourselves of our ultimate connection with something bigger to rewire our perspectives. I would love you to join me on this little journey to take ourselves out and beyond our minds and into the beauty of space above us.

Hello,

Thank you so much for joining me.

I created this meditation through my own need to redefine my connection with the universe and to feel a little space in expansion.

Through the past year or so you may have also felt some restriction or unwanted change and this is a great way to remind yourself of your ultimate connection with something that is so much bigger than you.

If it's available to you,

You may like to go and sit in the sun just to feel that nice warmth on your body.

Otherwise you can sit with me wherever you are,

On the ground or in a chair,

Getting yourself nice and comfortable before we start.

You may like to roll your shoulders a little bit,

Gently stretch your neck from side to side.

Taking some nice slow breaths through the nostrils,

Feeling that air,

Slight expansion of the belly and as you exhale feeling that expansion soften back down.

When you're ready you may like to close your eyes.

We're going to start by visualising ourselves as tiny as an ant or a bee sitting in the bowl of a luscious flower in the garden.

You can see the curvature of the petals around you and the pollen in the middle.

You feel comfortably protected within this flower.

You can also look up and feel the space above you,

The expanse of the sky and the twinkling stars far up into the distance.

You may like to take a moment to feel the velvety soft feel of the petals,

Making your seat nice and comfortable.

This flower can be whatever colour you wish,

Maybe it's a pure white,

Soft pink,

A deep red,

A blue or violet,

Whatever colour is resonating for you right now.

And you start to feel some sunlight streaming down towards your face,

Warming your whole body,

Surrounding you with this magical light.

You notice the beautiful play of the shadows and the light against the petals of your flower.

Feeling the warmth,

Feeling your soft breath move in and out of your body.

The warmth of the air against your nostrils.

This light is like an embrace to your body.

And then you look up and you can see before you the whole universe,

Starting with your small flower in a garden.

You start to visualise the garden that you're within.

And then bigger than that might be the area,

The fields around,

The woods or the forest.

And bigger than that you feel the surrounding countryside or houses.

And zooming out further still you're on a country,

A continent.

And zooming out further still you see the surrounding oceans.

Continue to zoom out slowly,

Seeing the neighbouring continent.

And you start to see the shape of the earth,

A little blue marble floating in space.

And as you continue to zoom out you see the planets and the sun.

And as you zoom out further still you see the surrounding stars,

Part of our Milky Way.

The swirling Milky Way,

Also rotating in this vast,

Vast universe.

And now the light is coming down from the far reaches of the universe.

All the beautiful twinkling stars streaming down into the crown of your head.

Allow this light to spread around your heart,

Warming down to your fingertips and then flowing back into the earth.

This beautiful warm light,

A constantly renewing cycle.

You're receiving and giving back.

Constantly receiving and giving back.

Atoms are said to be 99% empty space.

Feel this space within you and around you.

All the atoms that are making up your body and all the atoms that make up everything in your world.

They're breathing and vibrating with this space.

I am part of the heartbeat of the universe.

You may like to repeat this mantra with me.

I am part of the heartbeat of the universe.

I am part of the heartbeat of the universe.

The light continues to expand and flow through to any areas of stagnation and tightness.

Allow the light and your soft warm breath to breathe into the areas that need it most.

Just taking a moment here.

You may like to place your left hand underneath your right hand over your heart on your chest and bowing your head in reverence to the love that you have for yourself and the love for everything that surrounds you.

The people,

Nature,

Space,

The universe.

And this peace that you may be feeling now can be found.

Whenever you like,

It's within you and it's around you in this space.

And it's in and around the sweet beautiful breaths that you take every day.

It's in those quiet moments between the breath.

And it's in those moments where you're inhaling and exhaling life and life.

You can take as long as you like here,

Feeling the space,

Feeling your heartbeat,

Envisioning the universe that surrounds us all.

Thank you so much for joining me.

And you may like to join me in saying,

Namaste.

Thank you.
