Nighttime relaxation,

Meditation,

Rest into trust.

Welcome.

Find a comfortable position either lying down or seated with support.

Gently close your eyes.

Take a slow deep breath in through the nose and exhale softly through your mouth.

Allow your breath to just have a rhythm,

No forcing,

Just noticing.

Feel your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw unclench.

Allow your body to feel held.

You do not need to hold it all tonight.

You get to be held to.

Bring your awareness to your belly,

Just below your navel.

Feel this space soften as you breathe.

Imagine a warm glowing light here,

Your center of creativity and inner knowing.

Repeat silently.

My body is wise.

I trust what I feel.

Now move your attention to your solar plexus,

Just above the navel.

This is your emotional center,

Your compass.

Breathe gently into this space.

Allow any tightness that could arise.

Let it go.

Let your breath soften it.

Repeat silently.

My emotions are wisdom.

I honor my wave.

Feel a gentle warmth here,

Clearing any tension,

Creating space for ease and clarity.

Now bring your awareness to your heart center.

Place a hand there if it feels good and breathe into your heart.

Repeat silently.

I am worthy exactly as I am.

I am safe to let go tonight.

Let these words anchor into your chest like a steady drumbeat.

Feel your heart soften into trust.

Take one more deep breath and as you exhale imagine your entire body melting into the support beneath you.

There's nothing you need to do.

You are held.

Repeat silently.

I release the day.

I am safe.

I trust myself.

I rest with ease.

And when you're ready,

Drift off to sleep.

Carry this feeling of grounded trust with you.

Let your breath become softer and slower.
