Hi,
This is Natalie.
Welcome to this morning practice.
This is my personal favorite to start the day.
I'll guide you through a gentle kundalini inspired flow to awaken your energy and start your day in alignment.
As you settle in,
Find a comfortable seat,
Either cross-legged or on your heels.
Let your spine grow tall,
Shoulders relaxed,
Heart open.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and a long exhale through your mouth,
Letting the night fade away.
This is your moment to awaken,
To reconnect with the vibrant life force within you.
Begin to slowly move with your breath.
Inhale and stretch your arms up,
Reaching long through your fingertips.
Exhale and let them float back down.
Again,
Inhale,
Lengthen up toward the sky.
Exhale and gently lean to the right,
Opening the left side of your body.
Feel the stretch.
Inhale up back to center and exhale to the other side,
Lengthening through the ribs,
Feeling your side open.
Inhale back to center and exhale,
Drop your arms.
Beautiful.
Now bring your hands to your knees and begin gentle circles with your upper body,
Circling your upper body above your hips.
Inhale,
Leaning forward and continuing the circle,
Leaning to the right.
Exhale,
Leaning back and then left.
As you move forward,
Open your chest,
Lift your heart toward the sky.
Let your spine gently arch and feel the front body awaken.
Circle to the right,
And as you circle back,
Round your spine,
Draw your chin to your chest,
Feeling the back of your body stretch and release,
Closing the circle to the left.
Now change direction of the circle,
Leaning forward,
Then left,
Rounding your back,
Leaning back,
And closing the circle to the right.
Continue like this,
And let this become a fluid dance,
Inhaling as you open and expand,
Arching your back,
Leaning forward,
And exhaling,
Leaning back as you round and contract.
Move slowly,
Finding your rhythm,
Awakening each vertebra,
Stirring your inner energy.
Slowly come back to stillness in the middle.
Bring your fingertips to your shoulders,
Elbows wide to the sides.
We'll awaken the spine with dynamic twists.
Take a deep breath in to prepare,
And then begin.
Exhale sharply through the nose,
As you twist to the left,
Short automatic inhale,
And exhale sharply through the nose,
As you twist to the right,
Short automatic inhale.
With each exhale,
Draw your navel powerfully inward,
Activating your core,
Cleansing and energizing your system.
The inhale will happen naturally as a reflex between the exhalations,
While you're changing sides.
Stay with this rhythm,
Right,
Left,
Right,
Left.
A flowing,
Fiery breath.
Let your spine stay tall,
And the movement light and rhythmic.
Imagine you're twisting from your navel to the left and right.
Do a few more rounds,
And then return to center.
Release your arms down,
And take a deep breath in,
And sigh it out through the mouth.
Now close your eyes,
Relax your face.
Soften your eyes,
Eyebrows,
And forehead.
Feel your tongue resting gently in your mouth.
Soften your jaw.
Let your shoulders melt down.
Let your awareness rest on your third eye,
The point between your eyebrows,
The seat of your intuition and intuition.
Inner clarity.
Lay your attention on your third eye,
Gently,
Without force.
Now bring your focus to the base of your spine or your pelvis,
The root of your energy.
With each inhale,
Feel a subtle current rising upward through your belly,
Your heart,
Your throat,
All the way to the crown of your head.
And with each exhale,
Feel this energy spreading softly through your whole being,
Steady,
Radiant,
Alive.
If you like,
Visualize this energy as a white light spiraling upward through your spine,
Like a gentle wave of life.
Silently repeat to yourself,
I awaken to my inner light,
My energy flows freely,
I am grounded,
Alive,
And radiant.
Sit in stillness for a few breaths,
Feeling the subtle hum of energy pulsing through you.
When you're ready,
Bring your palms together in front of your heart.
Bow gently toward yourself in gratitude for showing up,
For choosing to rise consciously.
May this energy guide and support you throughout your day.
And if you wish,
Return to this practice each morning to reconnect with your life force,
And begin anew.
