Thank you for coming to be with me today.
This meditation is for you if you are experiencing some emotional pain in your body.
Whether you are moving through an experience that is painful or someone said or did something that brought up some pain for you,
This is a meditation to go inside and be with that energy of that pain.
And clear and release it.
This is especially for you if this pain leaves you feeling disconnected from yourself.
Focus on your breath.
Seated on the floor with a nice tall spine.
Your root planted on the ground.
Legs crossed.
Crisscross applesauce.
And take a few deep breaths in through the nose and loudly,
Audibly out the mouth.
In your mind's eye,
On your exhale,
Visualize that it has some weight to it,
Some density.
Almost like a vapor as it's coming out of your body.
Take your breath deeper and deeper into your core.
Breathing deep into your belly.
And releasing everything that wants to go.
And as you're breathing,
Since we're dealing with the presence of pain in our bodies,
It may be difficult to breathe.
It might be more difficult than usual.
Things might feel tight in places or stuck.
Just keep breathing deep,
Deep,
Deep.
And exhaling everything that is ready to release.
Using all of your awareness inside yourself,
Inside your skin,
Almost like it's a skin balloon.
Like everything inside,
All your insides are filled with your awareness now.
Breathe your awareness into your body.
Translate everything outside of your skin and solely focus inside your skin.
As you're breathing,
Allow yourself to sit with whatever energy,
With whatever pain is there.
Don't try to stuff it.
Don't try to numb it or hide it from yourself.
Simply feel it and let it be.
With each breath,
Reminding yourself that these energies are temporary.
Emotions are energy in motion.
It is meant to flow through us,
To be felt and to flow.
This energy is a messenger.
All pain has a message for us.
Deep breaths,
Deep into the core.
Bring your awareness down to your root and spend a moment feeling your connection to Mama Earth.
Feeling that vibrant,
Supportive,
Warm energy coming straight from Mama Earth's core and connecting to your root and flowing up through all of your chakras.
Continuing to breathe deeply into your core.
Starting to simply sit with,
Feel and be with whatever pain is present.
If your heart is calling for your awareness,
You can bring your awareness there now.
Even with a few deep breaths,
Invite your heart to allow you to feel any pain it's holding and to let it go.
It's okay.
It's okay to feel it.
It's okay to release it.
Just giving your heart permission to open,
Create space.
Allow it all to flow.
If it feels good,
You can hug the outside of your arms with your arms wrapped around your chest,
Maybe rock back and forth,
Saying to your body,
I love you.
I'm here with you.
It's safe to feel this.
It's safe to be with this.
I love you.
When something painful arises in life and we are knocked off kilter,
It can be so easy to feel lost.
We always have the opportunity to stop,
To go inside of ourselves,
To breathe,
To remind ourselves of our own essence,
Our own core,
Of our connection to everything,
Of our worthiness,
Of receiving all of this beautiful world's resources and love.
That when we are willing to receive all that is beautiful,
We also must be willing to receive what is painful and allow it all to flow through us without attachment.
Never attaching or identifying with the pain,
Simply being with it,
Feeling it,
And releasing it.
Using our breath to nurture that process.
You are a loving divine creature.
Your pain can be turned to power and you are here for a deeply loving purpose.
