Thank you for coming to be with me today.

This is a meditative practice for cultivating a sense of safety in the body.

We live in a very chaotic and unpredictable world.

And the felt sense of safety is something that we generate inside of ourselves.

It's not something that we create via our external circumstances.

We can literally be surrounded by a group of bodyguards.

Like a bubble of bodyguards.

And unless we are aware of how to create a sense of safety inside our bodies,

We won't feel safe.

No matter how safe the external representation looks.

So this practice is great to do regularly to train the body what a sense of safety feels like.

What the felt sense is in the body when you feel safe.

The sensation.

Hopefully you have already found a comfortable seated position.

Make sure you're sitting up nice and tall.

You have a clear pathway for your breath into your core.

And now it's time to bring your awareness inside your body with your breath.

In through your nose.

Out audibly through your mouth like you were fogging a window.

Good.

Good.

Just bringing your awareness down into your body with your breath.

Keeping your awareness inside your skin.

Allowing your awareness to travel around the inside of your body.

Almost like picture your skin is a skin balloon.

And your awareness is what is filling it.

So just kind of see your insides almost like a void in your awareness.

Just traveling around the different parts of your body.

Again following your breath.

Breathing deep into your root.

Filling up your core like a barrel.

As you exhale on your mind's eye.

See that your exhale has some weight to it.

Some texture.

It's a form of energetic release.

It might have a color.

A weight or density.

Just spend a few breaths seeing that leave your body.

Feel how your inhale moves more freely in the space in your body with each exhale.

Bring your awareness down to your root.

And exhale.

And exhale.

And exhale.

Bring your awareness down to your root.

And in your mind's eye see that energetic cord that connection that you have that connects directly from your root.

All the way down to the core of Mama Earth.

It's an energetic cord.

You can widen it a bit if you like.

And just feel how Mama Mama Earth's energy is flowing up this channel.

Up through your root into your body on your inhale.

It's a warm glowing pinkish orange ish.

Love energy.

The energy of support nourishment.

Of being held here on this beautiful planet.

Breathing deeply into that sense of connection.

And into the sense of aliveness and the utter abundance of that vital energy that flows up to us from the earth.

Continuing to breathe deeply continuing to release on your exhale you can see a release through your root,

As well as your mouth.

See it like sand flowing through an hourglass perhaps.

It definitely has some weight and some density just let it go.

If you feel a lot of weight or density down there.

That's okay.

That's normal.

In your mind's eye just see it leaving you.

Give it permission to go feel it leave your body.

It may feel slightly like taking an energetic dump.

Continuing those deep breaths.

Good.

Now moving your awareness from your root.

Up along your spine through each of your energy centers.

Your solar plexus.

Sorry I skipped your sacral first we move through your sacral.

Then your solar plexus.

And your heart.

Your throat.

Your third eye.

And finally your crown.

And again,

With your awareness that your crown feel the existence of the energetic tendril.

The channel that exists at the crown of your head.

It's a connection,

All the way to source to spirit to that which animates to that which is everything.

Just breathe into that connection for a moment.

The other you.

The existence of your spiritual company dancing around this connection.

All the people places and things you are connected to both in this dimension and in others.

Take a moment and tap into the feeling of pure love and benevolence flowing to you through this connection.

Breathe deeply into knowing you are seen.

You are loved.

You are supported.

You are cherished.

You are deeply valued for your place here in this life.

For the mission that your heart came here with that beautiful,

Beautiful light,

You carry with you.

Spend a few moments breathing into this connection.

Allowing your awareness to travel throughout your body again.

And just really gathering evidence to put in the bank of how your body feels right here,

Right now,

In this moment.

How does your heart feel?

How does your belly feel?

How does your back feel your neck?

How does your energy move in your body?

Just sit and relax with that feeling.

This is the sensation of connection and safety.

This is the cultivated sense of safety that can be created at any time using your power,

Your awareness.

When you are ready,

You can open your eyes and bring your awareness back outside yourself again.
