Before you begin to move.
Notice this.
Something has already begun.
Mourning isn't something you have to create.
It's already in motion.
Light is arriving.
The world is quietly restarting.
And you are included in that automatically.
Take a breath.
And wake up into that.
Inhale like you're stepping into a fresh space,
And exhale like you're clearing a path for something good to happen.
Again,
This breath isn't routine,
It's an opening.
We'd like you to ask yourself.
What could feel unexpectedly good today.
And let your mind toss out all sorts of small possibilities.
It might be a moment of laughter.
A message you didn't expect.
A tiny win that shifts your mood.
Or even just a really satisfying sip of something warm or cold.
Let those possibilities exist.
Allow them just as available experiences.
Without pressure.
And with that acknowledgement of possibility.
I'd like you to bring attention to your body.
Just inviting that attention.
Slowly by gently wiggling your fingers,
You can stretch slightly.
Just to the point where it feels curious and not forced.
Because there's a quiet kind of excitement in simply being able to move and to breathe and to begin again.
Let that land.
And as you do so,
Imagine this.
Somewhere just ahead of you.
Maybe an hour from now,
Maybe later.
There's a version of you who's already had a good moment today.
They've already smiled or felt proud or noticed something unexpectedly beautiful.
And you're heading in that same direction.
So with that excitement,
Take another breath and feel that subtle pull forward as momentum,
Not urgency.
Just a calm energetic pull in that direction.
And as you feel that pull,
I'd like you to pick one thing you're willing to enjoy doing well.
Doesn't have to be perfect,
Just something you'll do well with a bit of presence.
Maybe it's how you start your morning or how you speak to someone.
And as you make that decision,
Let that be your anchor.
As you've decided on your anchor for the day.
I'd like you to notice your face and just soften it slightly,
Especially around the eyes.
Allow joy to light up your face.
It doesn't have to arrive as a burst.
It can just show up as quiet openness and that's enough.
Now one more shift perspective.
Instead of thinking of today as something that will happen to you,
You could see it as something that will respond to you.
The energy you bring.
Even subtly changes the tone of things.
Not absolutely everything,
But enough to matter.
That's a good thing to know.
Finally take one last breath.
Full steady awake and as you exhale let there be a simple decision.
Today doesn't have to be extraordinary.
It could just be genuinely good.
And you don't have to find joy everywhere.
Just be willing to notice it when it appears.
Because that's how it starts.
Have a wonderful day.
