Welcome to Whispers of the Heart,
Guided Meditations.
I'm your host and guide,
Noriko Tanigawa.
There are moments when the world feels loud with opinions,
Loud with urgency,
Loud with certainty.
And in that noise,
It can be easy to feel pulled,
Pressured,
Or quietly disconnected from your own inner knowing.
Maybe you've felt it,
That subtle tightening in your body when something doesn't resonate,
But everyone else seems to be moving in the same direction.
Today's meditation is not about resisting the world,
And it's not about fighting against it.
It's about remaining anchored in your own truth,
Even when the ties are strong,
About remembering who you are when the collective energy feels overwhelming,
And standing gently but firmly inside your own values.
There is no need to argue,
No need to defend,
No need to convince.
Only a return to your center.
In this practice,
We'll ground into the body,
Connect with your inner compass,
And strengthen the quiet stability that allows you to remain sovereign without hardening your heart.
You are allowed to think for yourself.
You are allowed to feel what you feel.
You are allowed to walk your path without losing your peace.
So find a comfortable position.
Let your spine rise naturally.
Let your breath deepen without force.
This is anchored in truth,
A meditation for personal sovereignty.
And when you're ready,
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down.
Settle into whatever position of your choice.
Grab your favorite pillow or blanket.
Let's make it nice and cozy here.
This is your time,
Your space.
You get to be you.
Bring whatever you need to help you get back to being yourself and settle into any position of your choice.
Feel free to pause this meditation if you need a little bit more time.
And whenever you're ready,
Let's start our practice as always with deep breath in and out three times.
This will help ground ourselves.
Let's take a deep breath in and a breath out.
Let's take another deep breath in and breath out.
Let's take another deep breath in and breath out,
Audible breath out.
Allow your breath to return to normal.
And as you witness your breath coming in and out on its own,
Know that your breath is grounding you,
Anchoring you in your own rhythm,
At your own speed.
In today's world of social media and internet,
Where we get to access so many information at once,
Sometimes all that can be very overwhelming.
Sometimes we witness things that is very contrary to what we believe or what we want to see.
And when we feel the world being divided,
We get confused and sometimes even feel pressured to pick sides.
And sometimes we feel like the world moving in the direction that we may not prefer and we feel the pressure to move with that mass movement.
All the stress and anxiety you feel from these,
They're all valid,
You're not overreacting.
That stress response you have in your body,
Let's take this moment to honor it because you're feeling it,
You're experiencing it,
It's here and it's okay.
Let's take a deep breath in and breath out.
I want you to think of truth as multifaceted,
Meaning that each one of us have our own version of truth based on our experiences understandings,
Beliefs,
Values and priorities that we have in our lives.
So,
The experience,
Whatever it is that's happening,
It is always neutral.
It's neither good nor bad.
It is the lens that we see through it,
The lens that is made up of our different experiences and understanding and awareness of things that colors this particular event or experience as being something that is positive or negative or somewhere in the middle.
So I want you to understand that there can be multiple versions of truth because a truth is pretty much dependent upon how we choose to understand something.
And I want you to honor your truth.
And I want you to let go of the need to be right.
I know it's easier said than done.
I think it's in our human nature to be righteous.
We want to be right and we feel our values,
Beliefs and priorities are the only one that matters.
And I think this is where a lot of opinion crashes and we have arguments and conflicts.
And all that's okay.
It's sometimes uncomfortable.
But it is just another way that universe is expressing its infinite creativity.
This is the way the universe is showing us that there is an infinite ways to see one thing.
So instead of being triggered by the views that is opposing to yours and being upset about it we can choose to let go of being right and understanding that that's just another way of looking at things.
You don't need to trying to lecture other people of your own view.
You can honor other people's view as we honor our own.
In this moment I want you to think of all the different views and opinions out there as this beautiful tropical forest somewhere in Amazon.
You see all sorts of different color flowers,
Vines and trees,
Fruits and vegetables that you have never seen before.
And this jungle can sustain and hold all these different plants and trees and flowers,
Different animals and creatures and bugs.
Hold space for everything to be there.
And it is basically us.
Each one of us is just holding space for everything to be.
And just like this Amazon jungle can have some aggressive predatory species,
This world that you're holding in sometimes has aggressive views that you may or may not agree with.
And that's just part of the whole ecosystem.
And we can choose to be triggered by it,
Be fearful of it and change the way we live our life.
Or we can choose what kind of plant,
What kind of tree,
What kind of animal we get to be.
What kind of quality do you want to express in your life?
Who are you?
That's the question we might want to think about ourselves.
What is this one quality you wish to express?
Is it love?
Is it creativity?
Is it healing?
Is it joy?
Passion?
Or peace?
You might have just one or you might have multiple.
You see,
Right now we seemingly live in this realm where the loudest wins.
That social media post that gets the viral views or people on the social media or news that talk the loudest seems to take the dominant spot.
But that's not true.
If you step back and see the bigger picture,
It's those who hold your vibration,
Your core truth the most.
Those are the ones who influences the most,
Not in a loud way,
But in a quiet,
Steady ways.
Don't be those loud chatters that their fame lasts in days or so.
Be this steady heartbeat or subtle breath that continuously sustains you because those are the gentle,
Subtle,
But powerful force that universe use to move,
Evolve,
And to create everything.
So if it were between that one viral social media post versus this great force of the universe that is capable of birthing suns and moons and different planets,
Which one do you choose to align with?
Find your own truth.
Find your own core.
And this life is about aligning with this unconditional loving force of the universe.
No matter what is happening outside,
All the chatters and noises,
It will eventually become quiet.
And when all the noises are gone,
The silence is what speaks the loudest.
And this silence is what moves everybody and everything from the core.
So let's get back to our Amazon Django imagery.
Look around in your Django.
What do you choose to be?
You see,
Nobody get to tell us what kind of person we are meant to be.
Only you get to choose what kind of person you want to become.
Give the power back to yourself.
And no matter what is happening around you,
No matter how many people are against what you want to do or your beliefs,
If you know at your core that is your belief and that aligns with your soul,
Keep going.
Believe in your sovereignty and hold your own truth because you see,
The real truth never needs an explanation or justification.
It just is.
You don't need to be the loudest.
To prove your point,
You knowing your own truth is enough.
And know that your truth is very sacred.
And because it is so sacred,
Choose wisely with whom you are sharing your truth.
Because stronger you hold your own vision and your own sovereignty,
The more you give permission for others to do the same.
Can you imagine the world where everybody feels comfortable in their own skin,
Being able to express their own views without worrying about other people's reaction because everyone else hold the space for you as you hold the space for others.
Can you imagine the world where we all respect each other and because we respect so much of each other,
There is no need for violence.
Just imagine the world without people needing to be right,
People forcing others their own views about something.
The world is a beautiful place.
So whatever the plant or animals or trees that you you chose to become,
Keep being you.
Give yourself permission to be.
It is okay for you to be you.
Be that one very unique plant in that jungle.
Give yourself permission to be you.
So this is the space where you get to be you and this is the space you want to protect at all cost,
At all times.
Let's take a deep breath in and breath out.
Next time you see that viral social media post or the news that is seemingly sensational or aggressive trying to persuade you in one way form or the other,
Just look at it as just another very colorful plant or bird you happen to see in that jungle.
It's just one of many and if it doesn't resonate with your soul you can let it go.
Give yourself permission to do so and give yourself permission to just move on and leave whatever it is exactly the way it is.
It's okay.
You don't need to change anything.
You don't need to force anything but you have control over the way you choose to react.
The way you choose to do something about it or not.
Honor your truth and honor your soul being you.
Let's slowly get back to the physical realm and bring back this sovereignty that we feel in every cell of our body right now.
Slowly wiggle our toes and fingers rotate our wrists and ankles shake our heads yes and no and whenever you're ready slowly open your eyes.
Welcome back.
When you let go of our own righteousness and our desire to be right we can soften much of the pressure we feel from others.
The world is a beautiful place filled with many many different ways of looking at things different opinions,
Different views.
You don't have to change any of these.
Just focus on you being you and think of it this way every time you see something that you don't like use this as an opportunity to affirm to yourself what you actually like and prefer what you would like to see in the world and be that quality that you seek in the world.
So if you seek more love and harmony be love and harmony.
If you seek more joy in the world be that joy.
If you want more peace be the peace that you wish to see in the world because all the quality that we want to expand if we cultivate it within ourselves we get to reflect it outward into the world and this is how amazingly powerful we are.
We all are amazingly powerful.
So let's use our power wisely and use this to create the world more loving place filled with peace and harmony.
If today's meditation helped you feel even slightly more anchored consider sharing it with someone who may be feeling pulled in many directions sometimes the greatest act of peace is simply remembering who you are move gently stand calmly and trust that your truth does not need to shout to be powerful.
Thank you for coming along in this healing journey and as always I'm sending you my deepest love and support.
I love you all.
Thank you for listening and I will see you next time.
