This is Erica Garcia.
Sometimes we just need a five minute healing mantra meditation.
So throughout the next few minutes,
You will be sitting with your breath and I will be lightly providing mantras,
Simple mantras that are non-denominational that you can just say to yourselves in your mind as you breathe.
So find a comfortable seated position and then just sit nice and tall.
If your hands are on your lap or on your knees,
You could either have the palms of the hands up or down,
But definitely have your hands and your arms relaxed and the hands placed on your legs.
Allow the chin to drop and let's just fall into our breath.
Reconnecting with your bodies,
Find your inhale and your exhale breath.
You'll notice that the chin will fall down towards the chest.
Let the head fall heavy in the face to remain soft.
And get quiet with your thoughts.
Notice the sensations.
If there's any tension,
Allow it to just exhale and release.
On the next inhale breath,
Say to yourselves,
May I be healed?
And then on your exhale breaths,
Let's add,
May I be at peace?
Inhaling,
May I be healed?
Exhaling,
May I be at peace?
Adding a few more mantras,
Take the ones that resonate or just rotate them between the inhale and the exhale.
