Welcome.
Thank you for joining me today.
The singing bowl you hear is in the keynote of A,
Which corresponds to the sixth chakra,
Ajna.
The sixth chakra is located in between the eyebrows,
That point on the forehead just in between the eyebrows.
And we're going to bring our awareness to this point.
So you can imagine that point between your eyebrows.
So we're keeping the attention high right at that point.
Often,
If we notice,
Our attention is usually a little bit lower in the body.
And if you notice the attention starting to drop,
Or if your mind begins to be pulled away by thoughts or to-do lists,
Gently bring your awareness back to the point between the eyebrows by simply internally sounding Aum.
Internally sounding Aum will help bring your attention back up to Ajna.
Imagine if there's any energy there,
Maybe right in front of your forehead between the eyebrows.
You could visualize maybe a small ball of energy,
Maybe indigo in color.
Notice any sensation.
And again,
When the mind wanders,
Just gently bring it back.
And you'll hear the singing bowl.
And you'll hear the singing bowl at different intervals through this practice as a reminder to keep your attention at Ajna.
Ajna is a great point to focus on during your meditation.
Internally sounding Aum whenever the mind wanders.
Keeping your attention at the point between your eyebrows without expectation or trying to make anything happen.
Just keeping your attention high.
You might notice thoughts come and go.
And that's okay.
Just gently bring your awareness back to Ajna with an internal sound Aum.
Aum you you you you you
