In this meditation we focus only on you.
Never do this meditation when you have to drive,
When you have to do anything other than focus on yourself.
I recommend the best time for this meditation is before bedtime because this meditation we create balance in our lives that many times are filled with imbalance.
Get yourself comfortable.
You can be seated.
I highly recommend you lie down.
So get comfortable and close your eyes.
Begin to slow your breath.
Keep a cadence in your mind of four counts in and four counts out for your breath.
With every inhale begin to see that you are gathering yellow balls of energy that fill the room and you're gathering them above you into the form of a blanket.
This blanket has the glow of a yellow warmth and the warmth of a roaring fire.
It's filled with positive loving energy and every inhale you gather more and more and more of that energy above you.
With every exhale the blanket you've gathered together will slowly descend from the ceiling until it lands and rests upon you.
Begin now four counts on every inhale in,
Four counts on every exhale out,
10 slow deep breaths and fix your mind on that yellow energy in the blanket that forms above you.
As you approach breath number 10 the warm beautiful heavy blanket is just above your face now,
Just above your body.
You can feel the warmth and with your next exhale you feel the heavy warm blanket rest upon your body.
It relaxes your body.
It sinks through your body to the surface you're laying on and with it your body relaxes each muscle feeling heavy.
So heavy you can't lift.
Your body sinks into the surface.
You feel warm.
Your breathing is slow and relaxed.
As you relax if you feel any pressure left in your face or your jaw,
In your neck or your shoulders,
Any pressure that remains in your hips or your glutes or your ankles or your feet,
They wash away.
There's nothing that your body hangs on to except for the slow inhale and the slow exhale.
So let's begin.
As we begin your breathing continues to slow and we'll set forth balance with a heavy rested body.
In your mind's eye see before you a lake.
A lake during the night.
The light of a full moon lights your surroundings and the lake is beautiful and the lake is calm.
Spend a moment and take in the calm and the beauty of the lake under the full moon.
The calm fills you with peace and you notice in the reflection of the full moon there's a small boat.
The small boat has a sail and it moves slowly towards you.
It's sail gently blowing in the soft breeze.
I want you to focus on that boat as it gently and slowly makes its way towards you.
The boat has now come to rest on the shore at your feet.
Take a very deep slow inhale and a deep slow exhale.
Think of everything that brought you to this moment.
Something in your life has been out of balance.
Something or someone has created imbalance for you.
You know deep down what that is and while there seems like there's many things there's probably just one main thing.
It may be something that troubles you.
It may be a situation you just can't figure out.
Something stopped your creativity or something or someone has closed your mind.
Have that picture in your mind.
When you inhale you see the picture.
The picture of imbalance.
With every exhale you're gonna breathe a part of that picture out of your body in the form of a gray smoke.
That gray smoke will fill the boat.
Inhale and see the imbalance.
Exhale release a part of that in a gray smoke into the boat.
Exhale long and slow.
Take your time with your exhale.
Fill the boat.
Let the picture dissolve.
Breathe out towards the boat.
Whatever caused and created your imbalance no longer serves you.
It serves the boat.
Every exhale the gray smoke fills the boat.
With each inhale you inhale bright white light.
Breathe it in.
It carries the gray smoke away.
The white light fills your body with feelings of joy,
Peace,
Warmth,
Happiness,
Satisfaction,
Acceptance.
As you look at the boat it's full.
It's overflowing with gray old smoke.
The smoke has no more power.
The power is now the white light that you inhale.
You overflow with that white light.
With your next exhale you're going to exhale slow and steady but this time you exhale the white light.
This white light will fill the sails of the small boat and begin to float in the direction away from you in the lake.
Each exhale filling the sails more and moving the boat slowly and peacefully away from you.
Continue to breathe slow and deep and watch the small boat sail away.
You've sent your imbalance on its way.
You've allowed creativity to fill you back up in a spot where the gray smoke used to remain.
And in your mind the boat is too far out of sight and all it remains is a calm and peaceful lake with the full moon that lights your surroundings.
You feel great joy.
Your body is smiling from the inside out.
Your muscles are relaxed.
Your body is warm.
Your yellow blanket is heavy and resting upon you and you enjoy the feeling of new creativity,
New peace,
New acceptance.
You've sent on its way that which caused you imbalance and created an opportunity for a forever balance deep within yourself.
The meditation is complete but the balance is just beginning.
