Welcome to your guided meditation.
Our body is the sacred gateway to this meditation.
The gateway to reconnection with the earth.
Take the time to feel your body.
Notice how the body feels.
That kind of energy of thought and sensations is pulsating through it.
Feel the way the breath moves in your body.
Where and how do you feel it?
Does the breath come all the way into the belly or does it stop in the chest?
Can you relax in some way that allows the breath to deepen?
Feel the breath in the body.
Feel the way the entire body relaxes and opens.
Any sensitive body areas also responding to the breath.
Breathing gently with each inhale.
Breathing deeply with each exhale.
Feel your body beginning to relax and release.
Well done.
Breathe into the head.
Feel any tightness in your head and face.
Feel the tension and let them relax.
The head relaxes and feels more open,
More spacious.
Breathe into the neck and shoulders.
Feel the tension and let it go.
As you let go,
The neck and shoulders become softer,
Lighter.
Leave the body to begin to open,
Like a flower blossoming.
Breathe into the torso.
Feel any areas calling for loving attention.
Let the breath go there.
The soothing nature of the breath brings love and awareness to this part of the torso.
And so it relaxes.
It opens.
It lets go.
The body is opening,
Remembering its naturally relaxed and available state.
Pull your breath down into the pelvis and pelvic floor.
Feel the breath open this area and with the exhalation allow any tension or hesitation to release and to be liberated.
Now feel into your legs.
Feel their strength and power.
Let the breath relax and release them.
Good.
Now feel your feet.
Taking some time to really inhale into the feet.
Exhaling,
Dissolve the tension of the feet.
Now how does the body feel?
It is lighter and more open,
Right?
Good.
The body begins to shimmer as light,
Forgetting the dream of solid matter.
Feel the body opening to the aliveness and fluidity of its energetic nature.
This relaxed,
Perceptive,
Radiant energy field is your true body.
Be thankful for this body.
Love this body.
Cherish this body.
This is your body,
Freeing itself from their conceptual mind and remembering its own essential nature.
Keep relaxing,
Keep opening.
Become aware of the point where your body connects with the earth beneath you.
Feel the apparent sense of solidity,
The contact point between the earth outside and you inside.
What if this boundary between inside and outside was also just a concept?
What if the feeling of separation from this earth was learned?
And what if it could be unlearned?
Breathe in through the base of the body.
Feeling the base of the body opening with the in-breath.
Breathe out through the base of the body.
Feeling the tension release and the body melting into the earth beneath you.
With each inhalation,
Feel your body resting on the surface of the earth.
With each exhalation,
Feel your awareness open gently downwards,
As if opening into the field of the earth.
Wonderful.
As the body continues to relax,
To open,
Feel the sense of the earth's gravity drawing you in as a loving mother draws her child to her heart.
Feel the loving presence of the earth holding you.
Her love flowing up into the body with each moment of connection,
Triggering deeper and deeper layers of letting go.
Each present moment,
Feel your soft,
Open body on the surface.
Feel the release of breath drawing you gently into the loving arms of the earth.
Feel the nurturing,
Supportive and unconditionally loving presence beneath you.
As the body on the surface continues to melt,
Your sense of self,
Your you-ness,
Feel it open downward and outward.
Let yourself go.
Let yourself be carried and helped.
Let yourself fall.
Sense.
Let yourself be carried.
Self bath.
Let yourself fall down and deeper down into the loving embrace of this majestic and beautiful presence.
There is gentleness and there is the incredible power of motherly love.
This is your home.
This is your true body.
What you have called you and what you have called your life are expressions of,
Are literally born out of and sustained by this deeply loving and powerful presence.
With each moment,
Let go of deeper and deeper layers of holding back.
With each moment,
Open and fall deeper and deeper into the embrace of the Earth.
You are remembering your primordial connection with your essence.
The energy field that you call your body and the field that you call the Earth are truly one interdependent being and it is this radiant love and connection that binds them.
Your body is now remembering its essential nature as totally one with and inseparable from this Earth.
Notice how the body feels now.
There is not much distinction between you and the space of the Earth.
There is just a profound understanding,
A vastly open,
Spacious presence that radiates simple,
Peaceful love.
Rest here.
Feel yourself at home in the Earth.
Feel this loving presence soothe,
Heal and nourish you on all levels.
You are finally home.
When you are ready,
You can bring the attention back to the body on the surface.
Take a deeper breath and feel the body.
How does the body feel now?
Savour this moment of deep connection,
Embodied presence,
Remembrance for as long as you feel to.
In your own time,
Open your beautiful eyes and let the world be received from this radiant,
Deeply grounded place of presence.
If you feel like,
You can make a gesture of gratitude or recognition to the Earth.
And when you are ready,
Continue with your day.
