Hello and welcome to this purely being meditation.
We'll be doing a journaling exercise to activate and expand a desired state of being within you.
Your experience and desire has an energetic frequency behind it.
By raising your energy deliberately through the use of your focus,
Like we're doing in this exercise,
You'll not only feel better in your now moment,
But you'll also begin to naturally and effortlessly attract more of the essence of this state and its actualization into your life.
So everything that's a match to this elevated state will begin to infuse and enter your experience.
Make sure to have a piece of paper or your journal and a pen or pencil by your side to write with.
And if you don't have that,
Just pause this here and go grab it now.
Come into a comfortable seated position with either your feet planted firmly on the ground,
Legs about hip distance apart,
Up sitting cross-legged,
In either position coming to a long straight spine,
Chin gently tucked in,
Releasing all the tension from your face as you gently close your eyes,
Letting your shoulders relax away from your ears,
Breathe,
Letting it go with a big sigh,
One more time just like that,
In and out.
Begin to breathe in and out through your nose now,
Long slow inhales,
Even slower exhales,
With an ever so brief pause in between.
Just like that,
Becoming more and more settled with every breath.
And begin to connect to the sensory somatic experience of your body,
Feeling its presence,
Its existence,
Losing its stable,
Constant presence.
Center in,
Holding your awareness of your body,
Resting here for a few moments in the silence,
Breathing and being awake to your body,
Fully present here.
Big breath in through the nose,
And cleansing sigh out through the mouth.
Everything we desire in life is connected to a feeling we believe it will bring.
I want you to take a moment here to imagine all your dreams have come true.
You've received what you desire most.
You're living inside of your dream reality.
Feel what is the feeling of all your dreams coming true.
Another way to look at this is what state of being do you want to spend your life in?
How do you want to feel when you wake up in the morning,
When you're doing your work,
Meeting with people,
Moving through your day?
What's the overall embodied state of being that you desire to live within?
You may have many desired states of being,
But for this exercise,
Just choose one so you can give it your full focus,
Your full attention.
So just choosing whichever word,
Whichever state of being feels open and accessible in your body,
Gives you a visceral feeling of excitement and lift,
Something that feels relevant and true to you and your heart.
This meditation and this exercise with every state of being you desire.
With your state in mind,
Feel it begin to awaken in your body,
Beginning to lift and expand,
Gently blooming and activating within you.
Feel this state of being softly sparkling and tickling you from the inside out,
Resting within it as if you're resting within a cloud,
Breathing it in and out,
And soften even more deeply into this beautiful state of being.
Not using any force or effort to create it,
Simply allowing it to sparkle and wash through you,
The pleasure of it within yourself.
Let yourself completely relax,
Just enjoying the feeling of being.
When you're ready,
Open up your eyes,
Picking up your pen,
Your paper,
And at the top of the page,
You can write the word of your state of being down.
Throughout this exercise,
If you have an affinity for art and drawing,
You can do more than just write words,
You can doodle.
Now starting to write it down a few times over and over in your journal,
Rushing,
Just taking your time,
Feeling it in your body each time you do,
Using your paper,
Your pen as a focusing mechanism to keep your attention on this word and how it feels in your body.
Maybe as you write,
An image of you living in this state comes to mind,
Perhaps beginning to include any other words that feel really good,
Words that feel like a match or a natural extension of this state of being.
For example,
If your word is freedom,
You might write down the words power,
Liberation,
Openness,
Travel,
Italy,
Espresso,
Slow mornings,
Countryside.
Just following the train of thought that freedom activates in your mind,
Feeling and seeing yourself in the pictures as you do,
Continuing to connect to the core sensation of it throughout,
Letting yourself relax completely as you write,
Letting this be a pleasurable and relaxing activity for the sole purpose of focusing on a feeling and energy you desire for a sustained period of time as a way to anchor this frequency in your mind,
Your body,
Your emotions.
Keep connecting to your core desired state of being.
Let your imagination guide you,
Emotions and sensations of satisfaction.
Beautiful.
You can let your pen rest for a moment,
Allow your hands to return to your lap,
Closing your eyes for a few moments here,
And breathe easy in,
Slow,
Relaxed out.
Just like that.
One more time,
Breathing in and out,
Relax,
Letting go of all effort,
All thought,
Just allowing yourself to release this state completely.
Notice how you viscerally feel in your body and your mind,
Spending some time focusing on what you desire and nurturing the essence of it in your body.
Either here,
Journaling,
Activated the energy within yourself.
You can continue to focus upon it if it feels good,
Or you can also just relax,
Surrender,
Trust that its presence will naturally magnify.
You can repeat this exercise on your own with your journal,
With the use of the meditation,
As often as it feels good to you.
You do this,
You become with your focus,
With your energy,
More quickly things will begin to shift and rise around you to meet you in your expanded state.
Let's take one more slow,
Cleansing breath together,
In and out with a sigh,
Softly opening up your eyes,
Moving into your day from your expanded state of being.
