It’s tempting to distract ourselves when we feel resistance, anxiety, fear and anger arising within ourselves. Sometimes we try to fight it or push it away. But the secret to letting go and becoming free of suffering caused by negative emotions is to face our emotions openly. To allow them to be, without fear. To embrace them. To continue to breathe fully and look them in the eye, telling them, with a smile: “I see you, and I love you.”

Hello,

Beautiful and welcome to this week's guided meditation.

This meditation is all about witnessing yourself without judgement and transforming uncomfortable emotions through the power of love and awareness.

It's tempting to distract ourselves when we feel resistance,

Anxiety,

Fear,

Discomfort or anger.

Sometimes we try to fight it,

Judge it or push it away.

But the secret to letting go and becoming free of the suffering caused by negative emotion is to face your emotions openly,

To allow them to be without fear,

To embrace them and look them in the eye,

Telling them with a smile,

I see you and I love you.

Love heals.

Love is the salve that makes all things new.

Love transmutes the dark to light,

Pain to peace,

Suffering to joy.

Everything is energy and love is the one reality that encompasses it all.

And negative emotion,

Pain and suffering are all just the energy of love that's been distorted through a limited perspective,

Fear or judgement.

These energies can easily be returned to their love state through the power and presence of love.

You'll find somewhere peaceful to sit,

Somewhere you can relax and come to a comfortable seated position.

Breathe in deeply,

Expanding your lungs,

Feeling the life force filling you and nourishing you.

And as you exhale,

Feel it being released back to life as an offering.

Continue to inhale,

Expanding in love,

Space and awareness.

And exhale,

Releasing,

Softening,

Relaxing and grounding.

Place one hand over your heart and really feel its rhythm.

Allow your heart's simple beat to soothe you and turn your awareness within.

Feel the state of your now.

Notice any areas of tension within your body,

Maybe in your stomach or your heart space,

Your shoulders,

Neck,

Your head.

Just become aware of it,

Noticing its presence and judging nothing,

Just letting it be as it is,

Continuing to breathe deeply and relax.

Now as thoughts come,

As they likely will,

Just notice the thought with a state of detachment,

Compassion and non-judgment.

As soon as a thought or emotion comes that causes a little bit of discomfort or contraction in your body,

Detach from the thought and focus on the sensation it brings within your body.

What does the thought feel like within you?

And with a curious awareness,

Just notice the sensation and say directly to the sensation,

I see you.

Continue to feel the sensation with curiosity and detachment and say again,

I see you.

Allow the sensation space to be within your body,

Don't fight it,

Embrace it,

Maybe even welcome it with a smile.

And repeat again as you inhale deeply and exhale slowly,

I see you and I love you.

Open the sensation itself love and just sit with it,

Repeating as often as necessary,

I see you and I love you,

Wholly and completely.

I do not judge you,

I am not afraid of you,

I see you and I love you.

Continue to sit as long as you need to,

Just feeling the energy of the thoughts and emotions that pass through you,

Noticing them,

Detaching and then with a deep breath and a smile speaking,

I see you and I love you.

Watch how the sensation loosens and dissolves within you as you continue to infuse it with the light of non-judgmental presence and love awareness.

Use this practice whenever you experience a strong emotional reaction or negative thought within your body.

This is the pathway out of suffering.

The practice of witnessing and transmuting through the power of love knows no bounds.

Through awareness we can heal the cyclical pattern of repeat negative experience.

It's not until we look at our pain and our suffering and our discomfort through the eyes of love,

Compassion and understanding that it can be healed so that we may be set free.

Love heals.

Love is the power you've been looking for and it comes from within you.

It's time to give up the fight and go within.

As you witness yourself and your thoughts with the presence of love,

Darkness dissolves and the truth that is your unfailing light is left in its place.

Don't be afraid to stare into your own abyss and when the abyss stares back at you,

Remember to smile and say,

I see you,

I see you and I love you and watch the miracles unfold.
