Now just getting comfortable for meditation.
Either sitting up or lying down.
Settle into your space.
We'll begin this morning meditation with a breath.
Breathing in,
Feeling your belly rise.
And breathing out,
Just let it fall.
Grounding into this moment.
Acknowledging that you woke up today.
Just feeling grateful for that.
Knowing that every day is a fresh start.
Breathing in this knowledge.
And breathing out stress.
Breathing in this new day.
Breathing out tension.
Grounding your awareness into the center of your forehead.
Your third eye.
Your seat of consciousness.
Allowing your attention to just sink into this area.
Releasing tension or pain in your face.
And scanning down into your neck and your shoulders.
Allowing your shoulder blades to melt a little bit deeper down your back.
Letting your chest feel open.
Open for receiving this new day.
Scanning down through your arms.
Letting any tension melt out through your palms.
And then scanning down your back.
Around into your torso and your belly.
Releasing any worry in your belly.
And then coming all the way down your legs.
Breathing in this new day.
Breathing out any traces of sleep.
Allowing a feeling of awakening to just spread through your body and your mind.
A soft energy melting over your body like a blanket.
Letting this new day be whatever you want it to be.
Breathing in the energy of light and hope.
Breathing out any traces of sleep and dark.
Letting your whole body be filled with hopeful energy.
Knowing you can do this day.
Knowing you are strong.
You are powerful.
You are beautiful just as you are.
Allowing your beautiful soul to shine through the darkness of night.
Coming into this new day with a sense of peace.
A sense of calm.
But also feeling energized.
And then setting an intention for your day.
Maybe it's one word you can come back to later today.
Breathing in this intention.
And breathing out stress and worry.
Beginning to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Coming back into the space around you with a renewed sense of energy for your day ahead.
Namaste.
