Welcome.

So in this series we explore the four elements earth,

Fire,

Air and water.

So in this meditation today we're working with the element of fire.

So let's begin.

So I invite you now to take a big breath in focusing on a point in front of you with your eyes and a nice slow breath out.

And as you keep focusing on that point in front of you let's take another big breath in and this time with the exhale keep that focus but close down your eyes and maintaining the focus with your eyes closed taking another big breath in and slow breath out.

Inviting all parts of you into this journey today.

The mind,

The heart,

The body,

Your awareness,

Your energy and let's journey into a natural environment of your choice.

So just see what calls you.

Do you want to imagine yourself on a beach,

In a forest,

On a mountaintop?

See where your imagination takes you and just trust the first image that comes into your awareness and let yourself arrive into this natural environment with all your senses.

What can you see?

What can you feel?

What can you smell?

How is it to be in this natural environment where you are in this moment?

And how do you feel here?

How does your body feel?

Is there any tension?

Any holding?

Is there any busyness in the mind?

And without making any judgments around that just noticing how you feel as you arrive into this environment on this moment of this day.

And if there is anything that's unsettling you or uncomfortable take another big breath in and just see if you can let it go with the exhale.

And another breath in and try and make this the slowest exhale you've done today,

Really slow.

And as you become even more aware of this natural environment you start to notice that there is a flame present with you here and that might be simply a small candle flame or it might be a raging bonfire.

But however this fire element comes through invite it to come through in a way that feels really safe for you.

So this fire is contained.

It is safe to sit by this fire in whatever form you find.

So you can relax by the fire and really utilizing the fire element in a way that's useful and helpful.

And just look into the flame and notice the colors and the dancing,

The movement of the flame.

Perhaps you can feel the heat and smell the smoke and again making sure you feel safe with the fire.

Whatever you need to feel safe here you might invite a helper like a support person in here with you to attend to the flames or you might put some clear rocks around the edge of the fire so you can really just relax into this experience.

So the element of fire is the most powerful for transformation and transmutation in that it is unpollutable.

Fire is the only element that doesn't become tainted by what we give to the fire.

So we can give the fire our deepest,

Darkest energies,

Thoughts,

Beliefs,

Habits,

Emotions,

Memories and the fire can transmute it.

So just notice anything that might be arising in yourself,

Anything that's coming up that you'd really like to let go of,

That you'd really like to alchemize today into a new form.

This might be as simple as a habit that you're deciding you no longer need or it might be an inherited emotion or energy or program that's really holding you back.

And again just trusting your intuition to guide you here.

Allow any energy to arise now into your awareness so that then you can release this into the flames.

You might imagine yourself scooping that out of your body and throwing it into the fire.

You might imagine writing this down on a piece of paper and throwing that into the flames.

Just take this time by the fireside to let go,

To transform,

To alchemize.

Allowing all that no longer serves me to be transformed into light.

And then feel into how your inner fire feels.

The fire in the belly,

In the solar plexus chakra,

The digestive fire,

The mental fire,

The sexual fire.

Do any of your fires need cooling down or heating up?

How would it be if your inner fire was in perfect harmony with the other elements in your body?

So igniting creative fire,

Passion and courage,

And maybe softening mental fire,

Overthinking or worry.

And you might like to breathe that,

So you breathe the ignition of the creativity in and you breathe any excess mental fire or any other fire that might be in excess out.

So lighting up the fire of your power,

Of your motivation and releasing any heat,

Excess heat from the body.

My inner fire is steady,

Strong and sacred.

And once the fire element feels in harmony,

Once you've transmuted anything that needs to be transmuted,

You can send gratitude into the flames and start to make your way back into your body,

Back into the room where you are.

Maybe gently wiggling or stretching.

And then whenever you're ready,

Opening your eyes.
