Welcome.

In this meditation we'll be exploring the four elements air,

Earth,

Fire and water.

I invite you to allow your imagination to guide you and to let go of any attachments to how it should be or overthinking anything.

Just go with the first whim or urge that comes through in your mind's eye.

So let's begin.

I'll invite you now to find a focus point in front of you and bring your vision on to that point,

Really focusing on that point,

Bringing all your awareness onto it.

And let's take a big breath in holding that focal point and a nice slow breath out.

And again big breath in holding the focal point and as you breathe out this time keeping the focus but closing down your eyes.

And then another full breath in send the breath down into your belly and as slow as you possibly can breathing out.

And then letting the breath return to normal and letting the eyes soften and just noticing how you feel in your body today.

Does the mind feel busy?

Do you feel hot?

Do you feel cold?

Do you feel tense?

No judgment.

It's just like you're doing a really quick little body scan.

Tuning in so you can really be here with yourself now.

And so let's begin this journey.

I'd love you to now imagine a most beautiful place in nature.

It can be somewhere you know really well,

Somewhere you go very often or it can be somewhere you've just made up in your imagination.

So allow yourself to be in this natural environment now,

Completely immersed in it.

Noticing the colors,

The textures,

The sensations on your body,

Any scent that you might notice in the air,

Even any tastes that might be associated with this environment.

Really connecting to your senses and allowing yourself to fully arrive trusting that first instinct of where you want to be today.

And as you come into this natural environment let's get nice and comfy.

Maybe there a beautiful cushion arrives so you can snuggle onto it or a blanket,

A comfortable chair.

Really soften in like you're cocooning down into this lovely environment letting yourself nestle and snuggle up.

And once you're comfy start to notice the breeze,

The wind,

The air.

How does the air feel as you breathe in this environment?

How does it smell?

And take a few deep breaths inviting the air element into your body,

Into your being.

Clearing out any fogginess,

Clearing the mind,

Clearing the lungs and the skin.

Let the air element just gently blow away any dust,

Whether that's mental dust,

Emotional dust,

Physical dust.

Let it get into any nooks and crannies in your body that need to be cleansed and let the air wash that clear.

Breathing in the life force energizing your body and breathing out any stagnation or any excess.

Allowing the mind to come into clarity and openness.

Fresh perspectives arrive.

And what is your wish for this meditation today?

Why did you show up?

What is your wish that you'd like to send into the air up to the heavens as perhaps you see yourself lighting an incense stick and sending your prayer into the smoke that the incense creates.

Letting the air carry the wish,

The intention up to the heavens,

Up into the cosmos.

And now you notice a body of water appear in front of you.

It might be a small little pond,

It could be a vast lake or ocean or a flowing river.

It's taking a moment to really watch the water,

Watch the ripples,

The currents,

Watch the light dance on the water.

Notice the movement,

The flow.

And it's almost like as you're watching the water the energy of that flow of that movement starts to come in through your eyes and into your body.

Creating this flow within the waters of your being.

Allowing the fluids of your body,

The blood,

The lymphatic fluids,

The cerebral spinal fluids to all start to move and circulate.

You might even like to enter the water and bathe or splash or swim.

Washing away anything that needs to go.

Taking this time to play in the water,

To flow or to float.

To let yourself be taken into the flow.

Maybe you start to float downstream,

Let yourself completely surrender into the water element flowing to wherever it takes you.

And perhaps it brings you into a completely different environment.

So as you exit the water you step onto a completely different earth and you shake the water off like a dog in that big shake letting your nervous system reset into this new flow state.

And feel the earth becoming more solid beneath you with each step as you walk out of the water and up onto solid ground.

You find a beautiful tree there waiting for you at the water's edge and perhaps you want to sit with your back against the tree or you want to lie on the earth in the shade of the leaves.

Perhaps you want to place your hands on the tree and just take this time now to connect with the earth and the tree.

Allowing yourself to be deeply nourished and soothed by the earth element.

Really sinking,

Maybe feeling quite heavy and solid.

Feeling your roots beginning to grow down into the earth,

Down through the layers of the dirt and the rocks and the crystal grids.

Sending your roots down,

Sinking down and allowing yourself to receive just like the tree,

The nutrients from the earth.

Allowing yourself to be replenished by the earth,

To be embraced and held.

Laying down strong foundations and after what feels like a deep nap,

You start to awaken a little.

Awaken from the earth's embrace.

Maybe sitting upright and now there is a fire burning here with the logs from the trees around you and the rocks from the earth surrounding your fire pit.

See the rocks,

See the logs and see the flames.

This fire is contained,

It's safe but it's powerful and you can feel the power of the fire.

The transformative energy of this element.

The fire invites you to send anything you no longer need,

Anything that is ready to be transmitted or alchemized or changed or released into its flames.

So you do.

Right now you scoop anything out of your being,

Your mind,

Your heart,

Your body that is no longer serving you and you throw it into the fire,

Into the flames.

Fueling the fire and alchemizing it into a new form.

Whether that's warmth,

Whether that's smoke or whether that's something that you can actually use for yourself in a new way.

What are you releasing today and how is it changed by the flame?

Allowing anything that no longer serves you to be transformed into light.

And as you do this it allows your inner fire to ignite.

Your creativity,

Your passion,

Your courage.

With each aspect that you throw into the fire there's more space for your innate fire to activate.

Your determination,

Your will.

Feel that inner fire.

Find its optimal balance.

Find its optimal heat.

Maybe you want to dance around the flames.

Maybe you want to scream into them.

Maybe you want to shake it all off into the fire.

Let your body respond,

Let your sound respond to this if that feels right for you today.

Really releasing,

Transforming,

Upgrading and playing.

And once you feel the process with the flames is complete for you,

They start to settle and soften down into a much smaller fire.

And just noticing again how you feel.

Maybe taking a breath and just gently scanning yourself,

Your mind,

Your body,

Your heart.

How do you feel having connected with the four elements today?

And perhaps you might wish to send gratitude to the earth,

The air,

The water and the fire.

As you start to make your way back into your room,

Into your body where you are.

You might like to invite some gentle movement if you've been still.

Into your fingers and toes.

Maybe stretching or yawning,

Making a noise.

Just gently coming out of the imagination and back into this reality.

And then whenever you feel ready,

Opening your eyes.
