Welcome to this meditation.

Show up like the person you wish you were.

Before we begin,

Find a position that feels nourishing for your body.

You may wish to sit upright with your spine tall or perhaps lie down with your hands extended.

Allow your eyelids to soften or close.

Take a long,

Generous breath in through the nose.

And out through the mouth like you're blowing out a candle.

Let's arrive here together.

A deep breath in through the nose.

And out through the mouth.

And out through the mouth.

Let your body land.

The world can wait.

And as you settle,

Begin to sense the quiet calm of life within you.

The steady,

Loyal rhythm of your breath.

The quiet language of your heartbeat.

And the simple aliveness of being here,

Now.

Today,

We'll take a journey.

Not to a faraway place.

But to a deeper part of yourself.

A remembering.

A homecoming.

The person you glimpsed in your mind's eye.

The one you sometimes meet in quiet moments.

Or on the days when courage breaks through the fog.

The person you wish you were.

And perhaps already are.

Take a deep breath in through the nose.

And out through the mouth like you're blowing out a candle.

Let's begin.

I'd like you to imagine that you're standing at the edge of a forest path.

Air is cool and carries the sweet scent of earth and leaves.

Mist curls between tall,

Ancient trees.

And the sky holds the soft glow of dawn.

This is a place within you.

A place where your soul speaks clearly.

Where the noise of the outside world falls away.

Before you,

Path stretches ahead.

And down that path walks the person you wish you were.

See them.

How do they carry themselves?

Notice the way they move.

Rounded.

Open.

Steady.

Notice how they breathe.

How they inhabit their skin.

There is no striving in them.

No pretending.

They are simply who they are meant to be.

Take a breath here in through the nose.

And out through the mouth like you're blowing out a candle.

Allow yourself to notice what it feels like to witness them.

What is it about them that you long to claim for yourself?

Is it their ease?

Their quiet certainty?

Their unapologetic joy?

Their resilience?

Their softness?

Let whatever rises come gently to the surface.

Now imagine this version of you turns and notices you standing there.

Their face softens into a smile.

As though they've been waiting for you.

As though they've known all along that one day you would come.

And without words they beckon you forward.

You step closer and as you do you realise something remarkable.

There is no separation.

This is not a future version of you.

It is you.

A you that exists now beneath the layers of old stories,

Doubts and conditioning.

A you who has always been here waiting for the invitation to arise.

In your mind's eye I want you to imagine stepping into them.

Like putting on a garment made exactly for you.

Or perhaps like remembering your own name.

Feel yourself aligning with this energy.

Their steady breath becoming your breath.

Their open posture becoming your posture.

Their calm strength infusing your bones.

Notice how your heart feels as you wear this version of you.

What thoughts drift through your mind?

What are you no longer willing to apologise for?

What does it feel like to walk through the world as them?

Stay here for a while.

Breathing in this energy.

Breathing out anything that no longer belongs.

Inhaling a sense of your deepest self.

Exhaling every mask,

Every heavy cloak of expectation.

Silently speak these words to yourself as though from this inner guide.

I am allowed to take up space.

I am allowed to speak with kindness and conviction.

I am allowed to trust my wisdom.

I am allowed to show up before I feel ready.

I am allowed to be whole.

Let those words ripple through you like stones dropped into water.

Feel the gentle waves of truth move through your being.

As we begin to close this meditation,

Know that this version of you does not disappear when you open your eyes.

They are not a goal to strive toward.

They are a home to return to.

Every choice you make,

Every word you speak,

Every breath you take,

You have the opportunity to show up like the person you wish you were.

Because that person is you.

Now.

Already.

Take a few steady breaths.

And begin to become aware of the sounds outside of my voice.

Of the sensation of the clothes against your skin.

Of the weight of your body against the chair or ground beneath you.

And when you feel ready,

Slowly opening the eyes and coming back into the room.

Taking one final breath.

In through the nose and out through the mouth like you're blowing out a candle.

And carry this energy with you today.

Not as a task,

But as a remembering.

The person you wish you were is already within you.

And every moment is an invitation to meet them.

Thank you for sharing this time.
