Welcome to the Heart Chakra Meditation.
Let's begin by getting comfortable.
You may choose to sit cross-legged on the floor or sit in a chair.
Or if you choose to lie down,
Be sure your spine is straight and your tailbone in the heels of your feet are touching the ground.
Once you are settled,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath into your lower abdomen.
Breathe deep into the Hara,
Located two inches below the belly button.
Begin to follow the rhythm of your breath,
The natural rhythm,
Without regulating it,
Modulating it,
Or changing it in any way.
Just the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale in this moment.
As you continue to follow your breath,
Allow the gentle inhale and exhale to bring your body and mind together,
Centering your focus.
With each breath you notice you are breathing a little deeper and slower than you were before.
Deeper and slower.
You become more and more relaxed than you were before,
Releasing any tension that may be stored in any part of your body.
Check in with yourself.
Release the muscles in your face,
Eyelids,
In your neck.
Breathe deep into the shoulders,
Torso,
All the way down your arms,
Hands and through the fingers.
Release the tension in your hips,
In your thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
Feet,
And toes.
Release and relax.
Release and relax.
At this time I want you to bring your attention to the center of your chest.
Breathe into it.
Imagine an effervescent,
Beautiful,
Emerald green circular spiral emanating vibrantly.
This is your heart chakra.
When in balance,
This fourth chakra brings us a sense of wholeness,
Unity,
Compassion,
And we are able to love ourselves and others unconditionally.
We experience emotional balance and strength.
Breathe deep into your heart chakra,
The center of your chest.
Feel yourself becoming light as air.
Lighter and lighter.
Freer and freer.
Let your lungs fill with air.
Let yourself float.
With each inhale you feel an abundance of love,
Hope,
Self-acceptance,
Forgiveness,
Compassion,
And devotion.
You feel lighter and lighter like you are floating on a cloud.
You are peaceful,
Calm,
Full of inspiration.
Surrender to your heart chakra.
Let go.
Allow yourself to receive the love that you so fully deserve.
Let it surround you and lift you up beyond your wildest dreams.
Be brave.
Let your heart open.
Consider these affirmations to assist you in opening your heart,
Lifting you up,
And loving yourself.
I am trusting.
I am grateful.
I am willing to share of myself and give of myself.
I have compassion for myself and others.
I love myself.
Connect back to your heart chakra.
Breathe deep into it.
Feel this effervescent emerald green spiral in your chest becoming larger and larger.
Expanding through your entire being.
Surrounding you.
Flowing through you.
Allow it to fill your cells.
Feeling freely,
Effortlessly,
Refreshingly,
Like a calming breeze.
Feel it vibrating in your heart center.
Creating a deeper empathy and compassion for yourself and the world around you.
Allow your connection to your soul.
All is well.
Stay with your heart center.
Allow any last sense of doubt,
Fear,
Insecurity,
Or resistance to melt away.
Let it all melt away.
All is well.
Breathe one last time into your heart chakra,
Your fourth chakra.
Take a nice deep slow breath.
Allow gratitude to fill your being.
Give thanks for taking the time to connect to your heart chakra.
To your compassion.
And to your highest self.
It's time to bring your attention back into your physical body.
Into this space.
Being more and more aware of your breath in this moment.
Aware of your fingers and toes.
Aware of the sounds around you.
Breathe into your entire being.
Take a few more breaths.
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
