Most of us have wondered who we are; at our core, at our soul level. It may feel murky when we experience layers of disappointment, stress, anxiety, or other negative emotions or events. Take time to connect to your higher knowing, your inner wisdom to explore the question, "Who am I?". Anchor back into who you truly are.

Hi there,

This is Mary from Rivers Journey Wellness.

Welcome to your guided meditation focused on discovering who you are at your soul level.

I am so grateful you have decided to share this time with me.

I invite you to get comfortable either laying down or sitting in a supportive chair.

You can close your eyes if you haven't already.

Relaxing your arms,

Laying your hands on your lap with your palms facing up towards the heavens.

Begin to notice any tension in the body.

Relaxing any tension in the head,

Any tension in the neck,

In the shoulders,

In the back,

In the hips,

And releasing any tension in the arms or legs.

Gently bring your attention to your breath.

Let's take three deep cleansing breaths.

Gently inhaling through the nose and slowly and fully exhaling through the mouth.

And one more time,

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Letting go of any extra stress.

Releasing any worry thoughts.

Preparing the body and mind for meditation.

Allow your breath to soften to a natural but slow rhythm.

Scanning the body again and releasing any tension you notice in the body.

Welcome the quiet stillness as the mind settles.

This is your time to deeply connect with your inner knowing,

Your inner wisdom,

And to connect to the energy that supports us all.

Feeling more grounded and centered,

Pose a question to your inner self.

Who am I?

Who am I?

You may note that the mind wants to fill in the blanks and answer the question.

Your various life roles may creep into your consciousness,

But practice moving away from consciously answering this question.

Who am I?

Use the logical thinking and rational mind's answer beyond your roles.

Who am I?

Allow your higher self to guide you to your intuitive knowing.

Begin to feel and sense the answer.

Who am I?

Allow your inner knowing to come forward.

This question touches your soul and ignites your spirit.

Who am I?

Allow your radiance,

Your brilliance,

Your divine light to fully shine.

What arises for you when you ask,

Who am I?

Allow the thoughts that arise to pass like clouds on a bright and breezy summer day.

Release any judgments,

Any criticisms.

Release any fears,

Any doubts.

Trust that your intuitive self,

Your higher self knows and sees who you are at the soul level.

Who am I?

I am pure,

Light,

Effortless.

Freedom expansive limitless.

Hopeful potential possibilities.

Love,

Authentic happiness.

Balance,

Strength,

Safety.

Bliss,

Joy,

Passion.

Vibrant,

Comfort,

Abundant.

Purpose,

Creative,

Flow.

Peace,

Connection,

Oneness.

Take a deep breath into your heart center,

Anchoring all that you are and all that you hope to become.

When I acknowledge and honor my true self,

I heal.

When I acknowledge and honor my true self,

I grow.

When I acknowledge and honor my true self,

I shine.

It is time to release this meditation,

But know you can always return to your inner wisdom for guidance and support.

Begin to return your attention back to the present,

Back to your room,

Fully back in your body.

You can wiggle your fingers and toes to wake up the body,

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.
