Hello and welcome to this relaxing meditation.
Breathing is the most important thing we do,
Yet we tend to forget about it and never consciously breathe.
Being conscious of our breath and energy is the first step to heal the physical body.
Let's begin by taking three nice,
Big,
Deep breaths,
Paying attention to your belly and lungs expanding when you do so.
One,
Breathe fully in and exhale,
Letting your body relax.
Two,
Breathe deeply and let any worrisome thoughts just fade away.
Three,
Breathe deeply once more,
Filling your body with as much oxygen as you can,
And let the air escape from your body,
Relaxing you even further.
Allow your mind to drift and wander to the thought of a small lake.
This is the lake of healing and relaxation.
It is situated in a clearing of large trees,
Completely shielded from view of the outside.
You can easily see the other side of the lake,
Yet it is large enough to swim in.
However you see this lake,
Picture it very vividly in as much detail as possible.
You notice that the water is crystal clear,
But also seems to glow with a silver light.
Touch your hand to the earth beside it,
Feeling the liminal space where water,
Air,
And land meet.
Now dip your fingertips into the silver water.
As you do so,
You feel a deep,
Profound relaxation in your fingers.
The silver glow plays gently on your skin,
Slowly moving back and forth like gentle waves in the ocean.
This relaxation is so deep and pleasurable that you dip your entire hand into the water,
Letting the silver light and cool water play against your skin.
Your skin glows and your hand feels perfectly new.
The silver light from the crystal clear water beckons you forward to relax and heal.
Dip your toes in the water.
Stand with your feet planted on the ground,
Your toes wiggling in the silky water,
Your feet now taking on the relaxation and healing of the magical waters.
You begin to walk further out into the water,
Your feet never leaving the ground beneath you.
The silvery water begins to swirl around you,
Leaving your skin glistening wherever it touches.
As you slowly move forward,
Your body begins to relax deeper and deeper.
Any pain and tension you feel slowly begin to fade as the body is given a small rest and boost of healing energy.
You cup your hands and splash your face,
Neck,
And arms,
Continuing the cycle of relaxation and healing.
Your skin is glowing silver,
Misted by the healing waters of the lake.
You are so relaxed that you begin to float on your back,
Letting the water gently keep you in place and hold you weightless in this moment.
There are gentle waves,
Yet you do not drift.
Stay in this place of relaxation and healing water,
Breathing deeply for a few moments,
Letting these magical waters bring you peace.
It's time to come back now.
The water swirls around you,
Gently bringing you back to shore with your feet on the ground.
There's a towel waiting for you on shore,
And you pat yourself dry as you look out to the lake.
With a smile on your face and a relaxed and healthy body,
You say thank you for the kindness of the healing waters.
Let's begin to focus on our breath once more,
Gently bringing awareness to the feeling of our chest rising and falling.
One,
Breathe fully in and exhale,
Wiggling your toes.
Two,
Breathe deeply and exhale,
Wiggling your fingers.
Three,
Breathe once more,
Filling your body with as much oxygen as you can,
And exhale,
Opening your eyes.
