["Pomp and Circumstance"] Welcome to Lavender Fields,

A relaxation meditation and guided aromatherapy visualization.

For this session,

It is highly recommended to diffuse lavender oil and tune into your sense of smell and let the aroma relax you,

Bringing you a great sense of peace and tranquility as we wander through Lavender Fields.

Let us begin by taking a few deep breaths.

Feel your lungs until they feel quite comfortably full,

And then exhale,

Letting your breath fall out like a sigh of relief.

Let the aroma of lavender fill your nose and feel it send a wave of relaxation through you.

Now close your eyes and imagine you are sitting under a tree.

Your back is gently pressed against the strong and warm giant.

You feel the grass beneath you and between your fingers and toes.

The cool shade of the tree branches and leaves give a sense of calm and presence to you like nothing you have experienced before.

The smell of lavender continues to fill the air around you,

Yet you do not see the beautiful purple leaves.

Curious,

You stand up and begin to walk.

Your eyes half closed,

You feel as if you can find them simply by following your nose.

You walk slowly on the grass as it cools your feet with every step you take.

The flowers are 2 Take another deep breath as it cools your feet with every step you take.

Take another deep breath.

And exhale.

Searching for this ever elusive field that seems to be closer and closer as the smell becomes stronger and more intense.

Let yourself be guided by your senses and intuition.

You know exactly where you are going.

Keep filling your lungs with slow deep breaths as you begin to sense that you have crossed the threshold into a magical place.

Feel the warmth of the sun above in the cool soft ground below.

Give into the sensations you feel around you.

The gentle breeze brushing up against your skin.

The heat from the sun showering you with bright joyful energy.

The cool and moist earth below your feet.

The blades of grass between your toes.

Feel it all as you allow yourself the freedom to dissolve into the moment.

As this feeling continues to bathe you in a healing presence,

You look over the hill that is in front of you and notice a bright and lush color.

This royal and relaxing color reminds you why you came here.

The deep purple of the lavender fields no longer eludes you.

You made it.

Its beauty humbles you.

The vivid color,

The magnificent aroma,

It somehow feels magical as if in a dream.

As if in a dream.

You notice that you are the only one here.

The only one experiencing this mystical journey into the lavender field.

Breathe it in.

Breathe in this amazing aroma that connects to every cell and neuron in your body.

You can feel as the smell enters through your body and into your soul.

Like a magical force.

Invisible,

Yet ever present and powerful.

You feel as its relaxing effects take you and allow you to rest and ease all the tension in your body.

Feel yourself as you lay down amongst the soft purple flowers,

The smell now totally pervading your senses.

It's as if the aroma itself is a physical substance that covers you and protects you while you lay here and become completely relaxed.

Your muscles loosen and your breathing becomes even deeper.

You feel a deep connection to these flowers.

Almost as if the plants themselves were conscious and breathing beings.

Keeping you safe as you regenerate and re-energize.

Stay here and enjoy the magic of the lavender field for as long as you like.

Remembering to breathe deeply and continue to feel completely relaxed.

Now,

At the end of your journey,

Take one last look and one final deep inhale of the lavender.

Take a deep breath and take a deep inhale of the lavender.

Take a deep inhale of the lavender and take a deep inhale of the lavender.

Close your inner eyes and begin to feel yourself returning to your physical world.

Slowly stretch your body.

Move your fingers,

Toes,

Arms and legs.

Begin moving your neck and your back.

Bring your breathing back to normal and begin to open your eyes.

Welcome home.

The lavender fields will always be there right where you left them.

Anytime you need to refresh or just get away,

You can always find your way back to the beauty and magic of the lavender fields.
