This practice is to clear,
Cleanse and strengthen your energy.
Your energy body is like a self-regulating universe.
It's continually interacting with the energies around it and also shifting its own energies within you to activate you,
Calm you and to establish a cycle of repair and rejuvenation.
And balance is key.
All systems,
Whether physical or energetic,
Move towards balance.
Yet in our modern world,
It's very easy for this balance to become unstabilized.
We often forget about our energy body or dismiss energy as it's something that you can't see,
But it doesn't mean it's not there.
In really basic terms,
If you think of a radio or Wi-Fi,
It's very similar.
It's not like you can see the person standing in front of you that is talking on the radio,
But the waves of energy still get transferred to you.
You also have an electromagnetic field around you that extends out at least a meter in front of you,
Sometimes even further,
Called a torus.
This energy also flows through you,
And this means you can pick up a lot through your energetic field.
This can be anything from interactions with others,
Low-energy environments,
Toxicity in the products that you use,
The type of food you eat.
All of this can throw that delicate balance out,
As well as the thoughts that you think,
Your behaviors and habits.
These all contribute to your energetic alignment.
Energy changes depending on your emotional state.
If you're tired,
Your energy field can shrink,
Whereas when you're feeling confident and happy,
It expands.
It can be impacted by stress and negative thoughts,
As well as positive thoughts and meditation and affirmations.
A healthy field can also protect and keep your energy clear,
Whereas if you leave yourself open,
You can pick up attachments from low-energy environments,
People,
And what we consume via the media.
So it's important to keep your energy field as clean and clear as possible,
As this will also help you to create a greater state of well-being physically,
Emotionally,
Mentally,
And energetically.
Let's move into a practice.
As this is a visualization,
It's important to know that if you can't visualize,
That you can still do the practice.
You can just experience it as a feeling instead.
So start by finding a comfortable seat and let your eyes softly close and feel the chair below you,
Giving you that sense of support.
And lengthen out through your spine,
Almost like there's an invisible string pulling you up through the crown of your head and running down to the base of your spine,
Connecting you into the earth.
A feeling of being grounded and held while still connected to the crown and to the higher realms.
Allow your shoulders to drop back and down,
Opening through your heart and your chest and your front body.
And even though you're sitting up tall through your spine,
Allow your larger muscles to soften around it,
Release through your belly,
Soften through the jaw,
Smooth out through the brow.
You'll sense that your whole body is at ease.
And bring your awareness to your breath and begin to take longer,
Slower,
Deeper breaths into your belly.
Your breath is a powerful tool to shift and clear your energy field,
As well as tune into what is present for you.
Feel into your breath,
Its nuances,
The sensations and vibrations within your body as you breathe in and breathe out.
And as you breathe in,
You receive that fresh,
Clear energy into your body.
And with each breath out,
Have a sense that you're letting go of anything you might be holding onto.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Tuning into the energy of your breath.
And take one last big,
Deep breath and then allow it to gradually come back to a natural rhythm.
And you may begin to notice subtle shifts in your body,
Simply from consciously shaping your breath and its energy for a few minutes.
Bring your attention to your body now.
Scan through your body and notice where you might feel out of alignment or out of balance.
Perhaps there's even a sense of stuckness or stagnation in the body.
And be open to what comes up.
You might notice this instinctively,
And if you don't,
That's okay.
You're simply getting to know your energetic body.
There could also be something that you know you want to release.
And if that's the case,
You can set it as an intention for it to gently move through during this practice.
You don't need to know how to let this go.
Trust by having that intention that the process is set into motion,
That anything that needs to be moved through will gently shift.
Bring your awareness now above the crown of your head.
See or sense a luminous silvery white light.
This light holds the energy of cleansing and healing.
Invite the light to begin to pour through your crown,
A little like an energetic shower for the inside of your body.
You might like to sense that as you breathe in,
You're drawing the light in.
And as you breathe out,
You're releasing,
Creating more space for the light.
Allow this to move through your entire body,
Clearing and cleansing as it moves through,
Gently releasing.
You might also like to have a sense that you send back any energy that you've picked up,
That isn't yours to hold.
And it's important to remember that if you're sending energy back to another person,
It doesn't mean that you don't care about them.
It's just that you don't need to carry their energy as your own.
And when you've moved through your whole physical body,
Come back up to your crown and scan through again.
Notice if there's any areas that still need to be cleared and have the intention to wash through any remaining debris.
Until you get a sense that every cell of your body is sparkling with this beautiful silvery white light.
You may even sense this light begins to move out beyond the edges of your skin as if you are shining from the inside out.
I invite you now to come back to above the crown of your head.
And this time see or sense a luminous gold light like the light of a sun shining down on you.
Sense its warmth,
Its strength and protective energy.
Allow this light to come gently around your entire body,
An energetic field,
Approximately an arm's length out in all directions,
Bathing you in this magnificent golden light surrounding you with its powerful rays and rest in this beautiful energy for the last few minutes of the practice,
Feeling safe,
Held and supported.
As we begin to close the practice,
Thank the light for its healing,
Its cleansing and its protection.
Bring your hands together at your chest and rub them gently,
Feeling the energy between them and place one hand over your belly and one over your heart and begin to breathe deeply,
Feeling your body firmly on the chair again and bring back in some movement,
Moving in a way that feels intuitively good for you and gradually open your eyes.
You can come back to this practice at any time you need to clear your energetic body and field.
