Welcome to ground interpresence a gentle journey home to your body The first meditation in the Embodied Calm series.
Collection of five guided meditations created to help you ground,
Soften and and move through life with greater ease.
Take this moment now to arrive.
Find a comfortable position.
You might choose to sit upright with your feet on the floor.
Or lie down somewhere you can fully exhale.
Allow your body to settle into the support beneath you.
Notice the way the ground holds you without asking anything in return.
Begin to bring awareness to your breath now.
Just noticing it.
The soft rhythm of your inhale.
And your exhale.
Each breath a quiet invitation to come home.
Now take a slow deep breath in through your nose.
And let it out gently through your mouth like a sigh of release.
One more time in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
Feel the shoulders drop.
Your jaw softened.
Your belly loosen.
Your body beginning to remember what it feels like to feel safe.
Let's begin to move our attention through the body,
Noticing each part with gentle curiosity.
Bring your focus to the crown of your head.
Notice any tingling,
Warmth or light pressure here.
Then slowly move down to your forehead.
Your eyes space between your brows.
Let that space soften now.
Feel your awareness travel down through your cheeks.
Your jaw.
Your tongue You don't need to hold anything here,
You can let it all go.
Down through the neck.
And shoulders.
If you notice any tension,
Simply breathe into it.
Imagine that breath melting through the tightness like sunlight on ice.
And now allow your awareness to drift down your arms.
Your elbows.
Wrist palms.
And fingertips.
Notice the subtle hum of life beneath your skin.
Bring your attention back up and through your chest.
Feeling the rise and fall as you breathe.
Your breath like gentle waves on a shore.
Steady.
Constant.
Safe.
Move your awareness to your back.
Upper middle,
And lower.
Let the muscles soften into gravity's hold.
There's nothing to carry right now.
Bring your awareness to your belly.
If there's tightness or resistance that's okay.
This is a space that often holds emotion,
Stress and memory.
Breathe into it softly now,
As if you're saying to your body,
I'm listening.
Now to your hips and pelvis.
The seat of stability and creation.
Feel their weight supported beneath you.
Imagine a warm golden light glowing here.
Anchoring you grounding you reminding you that you belong.
Let that light now travel down your legs.
Through your thighs Knees.
Calves and ankles.
And into the soles of your feet.
Here imagine roots unfurling from the base of your feet and reaching deep into the earth below.
Strong steady ancient roots They travel through layers of soil and stone down to the heart of the earth.
Feel yourself anchored.
The earth holds you.
You are supported.
You are safe.
And now imagine drawing gentle energy up through those roots.
The nourishment of the earth flowing into your body.
With each inhale,
That energy rises through your legs,
Your hips,
Your spine.
Rising until it reaches your heart And with each exhale let go of what you no longer need.
Old worries,
Tension,
Thoughts that don't serve you.
Let them travel back down the routes,
Returning to the earth to be recycled into something new.
Take a few breaths here.
Receiving on the inhale.
And releasing on the exhale.
Allowing a natural exchange between you and the world around you.
And now bring your awareness to your heart space.
Perhaps you sense warmth or a soft pulsing light.
Whisper to yourself i am here i am safe i am home Let those words settle inside you now.
Not just as thoughts,
But as a feeling.
With each breath your body remembers.
You don't have to rush.
You don't have to fight presence is enough.
Allow the breath to slow naturally.
Let your body rest in stillness.
Bathed in the gentle hum of safety and calm.
And then when you feel ready.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Bring small movements back into your body.
Notice how grounded you feel.
Steady centered present Allow yourself to come back more and more into your body now.
Feeling the air on your skin,
The support beneath you.
Take one final deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Release a quiet smile.
You've arrived right here,
Right now.
Whole.
Safe.
Home.
