Start by taking a few deep breaths in and out of your nose.
You can imagine your inhale goes all the way up to the top of your head and your exhale travels all the way down to the soles of your feet.
Inhale goes all the way up to the top of your head.

And just continue with that breath throughout the meditation.
We're focusing on the root chakra today.
It's located from our pelvis down to the soles of our feet.
It also includes our blood and our bones,
Our foundation.
You could imagine the color red.
You could imagine the earth.
Maybe even feel that your body or your feet,
Whatever is touching a seat or the floor,
Feel supported and grounded and rooted.
Our affirmation for this chakra is I am safe.
I am safe.
I am safe.
Allow that security to sink into your body,
To sink into your blood,
To sink into your bones.
I am safe.
I am safe.
The sacred sound that's associated with our root chakra is LAM.
