The Virtue Of Courage - Poem

I am the archer of time.

My arrows move swiftly through the space within my mind.

Divine is the unreachable target.

The human eye cannot see what lives beyond sight.

The target remains in the dark.

The unreachable target cannot be struck without light.

Pulling the bow with faith and releasing the arrow with confidence is my only choice.

The bow represents the present.

The arrow released a future already written.

In common the bow and arrow share direction.

Merging them in alchemy they forged the archer,

As courage and solitude create the warrior and the earth and sky form this world.
