Close your eyes and bring your awareness inwards just notice where you are what's around you with appreciation for making it to this moment right now and right here notice the simple fact that life is happening your breath is your chest rising and falling and so the breath is giving life right now a slow inhale through the nose and an exhale out the mouth gentle inhale slow exhale continue the breath signaling your body i'm here i'm safe and now is all that is with your eyes closed bring your awareness to the space behind the forehead notice the activity that's going on here the thoughts the judgment the analyzing the mind is working to keep you safe by trying to control the possibilities the mind has learned the rules be good don't fail perhaps act like you know more than you do don't show too much of this and that be like this act like that and the mind is running that program but today we will take a step outside of that program so let's take a deep breath imagining all those thoughts slowing down finding stillness finding relaxation there's nothing we need to solve right now we're just going to be for a moment and let the mind do its thing without attaching too much meaning to it deep and slow inhale feeling the air entering the body and imagining it filling the whole headspace and softening everything with the exhalation and then letting the structure loosen with the exhale again inhaling deeply filling the head with fresh oxygen with fresh light and life and then letting the structure loosen with the exhale now you can silently repeat i allow myself to stop thinking and letting thoughts slowly disappear always returning innocently to the breath bring your awareness to your heart feel the warmth feel the pulse your heart's been beating every second of this life without even asking for permission from the mind it's not performing it has no expectations has nothing to prove it's just here living feeling imagine with your next breath your whole awareness sliding down from the head over the throat filling the heart with light and loving awareness from thinking into feeling from controlling into receiving from effort and to simply being held the heart is going strong it's not a fragile thing it is fierce it knows it speaks it feels the heart is the place where life really touches you it's a place where you can breathe breathe into the touch inhale and imagine light entering the heart and exhale an expansion of that light outward with every breath inhaling to open and exhaling to soften now imagine the heart greeting you with a whisper because you've been here before this is nothing new this is home see it realize it and perhaps there's an area in your life where you are holding on an area that you are trying to control the outcome see this area in your life and feel the tension around it notice where that tension sits the rigidity of it,

The heaviness and with the next expanse of breath move that energy down into the heart and silently repeat i don't have to control the unfolding breathe i don't have to control the unfolding then i trust life more than i trust fear i trust life more than i trust fear and finally may it happen through me instead of me making it happen may life happen through me instead of to me noticing with the heart and as it's not concerned with the perfect story the heart is here for living for being for being the mind seeks certainty the heart knows truth ask your heart now not for an answer but for a feeling ask what do you need from me and listen what do you need from me and whatever it is you're feeling know that this is truth whatever sensation or emotion arises it is perfect because the heart doesn't speak in words or thoughts it speaks in sensation and feeling and now imagine this life is unfolding as you like a river flowing you are the river and you are the witness you don't have to push to flow you don't have to swim upstream you don't have to fix or force anything you simply flow and observe the flowing inwardly repeat i surrender to the flow of life i trust myself i trust myself i let my heart lead i let my heart lead i let my heart lead feel the sensation the freedom visualize the magnetic field of your heart expanding with every breath with every heartbeat sending waves of knowing of intelligence through the entire body your mind no longer being the commander but the servant to your heart working together in coherence the mind soft the heart open the breath deep and steady and you are whole now begin deepening your breath again feeling your entire body and your heart feel the aliveness and you can stay here or whenever you're ready start opening your eyes noticing the world from this place it looks so different when we're able to see from the heart carrying this presence wherever you go may life unfold as it is
