Welcome to today's guided mantra meditation session of Om Namasivaya.
Om Namasivaya is a panchakshari mantra which means it has five syllables.
The five syllables of this mantra are Om Namasivaya.
Om Namasivaya.
The true spiritual value of mantra meditation is to get rid of negative emotions and difficult thought patterns.
Today we will be doing this mantra chanting 108 times and we will be doing it in three levels or stages.
The first level is silent muttering that is barely audible.
This helps shakes away our brain's superficial emotions and thoughts.
The next level is much clearer,
Louder voice of chanting.
We bring the intensity and volume up and as we do so we also remove many other emotions and thoughts that are more vigorously held to our mind.
We go to the level 3,
Third stage which is a rather loud,
Could be singing stage where people go into an intense mode.
You let go of all the rhythm and force and you sing or chant with as high of a voice as you want to muster up.
In doing so you get rid of all the emotions and thoughts that exist on the surface of your mind.
Then we come back to level 2,
Stage 2 which is a lower level of voice and it quiets the inner mind.
Then we come down to the quiet muttering which stills the inner mind even more.
The last stage is to become totally still which helps the power of the mantra to start taking effect within us.

Keep your attention where the breath is coming in,
Into your nostrils and also on your third eye area,
The point in between your eyebrows.
Observe your breath and let your breath breathe itself.
Keep your mind aware of the breath.
Each breath that you breathe in,
You are grateful for the blessings.
Each breath you breathe out,
You let go of the emotions that are of no use to you at this present moment.
Every breath,
Still your mind and you feel the peace within you.
Every breath out,
You let go of each emotion that does not serve its purpose.
Enjoy the stillness of the mind,
Enjoy the quietness of the mind.
Act the universe for all your blessings.
Slowly wiggle your toes,
Move your fingers,
Feel your body,
You can open your eyes and have a wonderful rest of the day.
