Sitting relaxed,

I begin my inner journey once again.

I take a moment to remember who I am.

I,

The being in the body,

I'm not my labels,

I'm not what I possess,

None of my external identities are really me.

So I gently bring myself to that one point of conscious energy.

And in this meditation,

I'm going to take a few moments to restore my self-respect.

I,

The being of light,

I'm complete and perfect in just who I am.

I don't need anything or anyone to bring completion in me.

I was created,

Completely pure.

And even when I look at my journey,

Each step along the way was a step towards my own inner perfection,

Was a step towards me realising and learning more about myself.

And in this way,

I start to restore my life energy.

I can develop deeper faith in myself and I start to rebuild my self-confidence,

My self-respect.

For many of us,

When we look back,

Our lives may be filled with mistakes,

With disappointments,

Moments of confusion.

And yet,

When I remember the beginning of my journey as a pure being and the end of my journey,

Once again,

As a complete,

Perfect soul,

Then there is no need to regret,

No need to feel guilty,

No need to hold any grudges against myself or others.

The traveller along the journey goes through many phases.

There are moments when he is tired,

Moments when he takes a turn where he shouldn't,

Moments when the journey is uphill and he needs to take a break.

This is a normal part of the journey of every one.

And even though on the outside,

We might seem to be okay,

Each soul has a story,

Has a history that it needs to come to terms with.

Let me in this moment completely accept myself and my journey.

Let me allow life to be a gift,

An opportunity for my own growth.

At every step,

Let me appreciate how much I have done and allow my growth to stem from that.

As I gently move towards my future goal,

I allow these feelings of goodness towards myself to increase.

And as I do that,

It's as though I vibrate at a higher frequency,

A frequency of love,

A frequency of gratitude.

And as I change my attitude towards myself and build this self-confidence and self-respect,

It completely changes my feelings towards others.

I start to see others too,

As travelers moving towards their final aim,

Their final goal of completion.

And no matter what stage they are at today,

I can hold that reality in my mind.

Ultimately,

It creates a deep sense of acceptance and peace towards the world.
