Welcome to your guided meditation for deep relaxation and to leave your worries even at least momentarily.
Please allow yourself to take this wonderful journey with yourself.
I invite you now to get into a comfortable position,
Either sitting down or lying down with your spine straight.
Get into a relaxed,
Comfortable position.
And then when you're ready,
Gently closing your eyes.
Take three deep breaths into your belly to bring you into this moment and letting go of your day or whatever you need to do next.
Now gently scan your body from head to foot,
Noticing any areas of tension and consciously releasing the tension on the exhale.
I invite you now to bring to mind a place you've either been to before,
Regularly go to,
Or you'd like to go to where you feel safe,
Comfortable,
And relaxed.
Let it be a place where you can truly be yourself and do what you love.
I invite you to imagine that place is right in front of you.
Feel your feet as you walk towards that place.
Immerse yourself in your surroundings.
Allow yourself to revel in the colors around you.
Listen to the sounds that come and go.
Feel the air on your skin.
Allow yourself to feel all of these sensations and enjoy this place for the next five breaths.
Then find yourself a comfortable spot to stand,
Sit,
Or to lie down on.
Whatever feels perfect for you in this special place of yours.
At this moment in time,
I invite you to look at yourself in this place as an observer.
Notice how relaxed you feel,
Perhaps the smile on your face and gratefulness in your heart simply for being here,
For being alive in this moment.
Allow yourself to feel this for the next five breaths.
It's almost time to leave this special place of yours.
Remember that you can always go back any time to reconnect with yourself and get back to a relaxed state.
I invite you to take a deep breath in and out.
And slowly move in your fingers and your toes.
And then when you're ready,
Gently opening your eyes.
