Hello and welcome to the Daily Drop of Gratitude.

My name is Stacey.

I'm glad you're here.

In the next few minutes,

We're just going to pause,

We're going to breathe,

And we're going to connect with gratitude for something simple yet so profound.

Today's gratitude will be gratitude for the body's wisdom.

Go ahead and gently close your eyes.

Just take a slow and steady breath in.

As you exhale,

Let the shoulders melt just a little bit,

Soften.

In today's Daily Drop of Gratitude,

It is for the remarkable body,

This vessel that carries you through every season of life.

Parts of it may hold scars or tenderness.

It may have changed in ways that you didn't choose,

And yet still it shows up for you every single day.

Place a hand over your heart or the area of your body that needs care,

And gently whisper inwardly,

Thank you.

Thank you to the lungs that breathe,

To the legs that have walked you through both joy and sorrow,

To the heart that continues to beat and show up with courage.

We don't have to be at war with our body.

We don't have to resist the subtle changes.

We might even come to embrace aging.

You can learn to be in conversation with your body,

In partnership,

In a rhythm that is rooted in gratitude.

Today's affirmation is so simple.

I honor my body for all that it carries,

All that it teaches,

And all it allows me to experience.

Thank you for taking time to nurture gratitude in your heart as you move through your day.

Be aware of this beautiful vessel that is your body.

Whisper thank you,

And remember that you are not alone.

And I'll see you next time.

Be well.
