Chapter 7 Understanding Brieve and the lioness reached a great clearing in the forest.
The sun was directly above them and the sky was a clear blue.
That is the pine,
The lioness said to Brieve,
Signalling up ahead.
Brieve heard birds cawing overhead.
She looked up and then behind her to see a horde of birds and crabs trailing them.
But she didn't feel like she needed to run from them this time,
But she had the lioness at her side.
She knew they were no match for her and her new friend.
Brieve could feel she was close to finding her tribe's crystal.
She stopped and stood in front of the pine before placing her hand on its surface.
She looked over to the lioness and smiled.
The pine started to turn and slowly open from its roots.
Its bark separated,
Revealing inside the crystals that she and the other animals had been seeking.
All the creatures had reached the clearing by now.
They stood back in amazement staring up at the giant crystal structure.
Brieve,
I think you had something needed to complete this journey,
Said the lioness.
Brieve raised her palm and looked down at the fragment of crystals she had plucked from the lioness's paw.
The fragment beamed a spectrum of colour before she slotted it perfectly into place within the crystal structure.
The sun shone a strong beam of light down,
Engulfing the crystal cluster.
Brieve closed her eyes against the glare,
Only opening them again as the rays of light began to fade.
The cluster had morphed into one giant transparent crystal.
The sun spoke.
Brieve,
My seedling,
You have grown up out of your mountain soil and experienced some powerful emotional elements.
Do you feel closer to your sunlight?
Yes,
Yes I do,
Brieve replied proudly,
Closing her eyes as his beams became strong again.
Then go and shine my seedling and wake up the world.
Wake up,
Wake up,
Brieve,
It's time to wake up.
Brieve inhaled deeply and frowned for a moment.
She knew that voice.
Brieve,
It's time to wake up.
She opened her eyes and focused on her father's face.
You're okay,
She cried,
Grasping her father closely and looking over his shoulder to see the red crystal on the cave wall behind him.
Of course I'm okay,
Was it a good dream?
You didn't want to wake up,
Her father said,
Pulling away from Brieve to look into her eyes.
It was an amazing dream,
Father,
She said,
Still in disbelief.
It seems so real.
Those are the dreams that have something to teach us,
Her father replied with a big smile.
Chapter 7 Exercised Close your eyes and imagine you are in a safe place.
You feel happy and content.
You are joined by others in this space.
People whom you love,
Whom you care about,
Who have helped you through tough times and have held space for you to grow within your life.
They may be family,
Friends,
Work colleagues,
People who are no longer with you,
But all are people who are significant to your life.
Looking around at their faces,
You notice a soft white light that connects each of them to you and to one another.
Take in the love and compassion emulating from them.
Rest as long as you want to in this space of connected oneness.
I definitely feel I have been taught many lessons,
Brieve said,
Pausing for a moment.
I think I understand now what Mother Earth was trying to teach us.
Her father tilted his head and looked curiously at his daughter.
She wants us to experience all that life has to offer.
So we can evolve and grow beautiful wings like the caterpillar,
Said Brieve.
Afterward,
Never forget the determined little caterpillar and his struggle that became his success.
We are all part of nature.
The shifting of our thoughts,
Feelings and beliefs all have an effect on our physical being and greater environment.
Without experiencing this spectrum of emotion and interacting compassionately with one another,
We cannot morph into the greatest expressions of ourselves.
The end.
Breathe deeply and dream sweet dreams.
Thank you for listening to Brieve a mindful story.
