Welcome to the Sun of Life Astrology guided meditation to visualize our best self.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated with your feet firmly planted on the floor or lying down.
Once you're comfortable,
Allow the eyes to flutter closed.
Begin by taking a couple deep breaths.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Allow any worries or cares from the day to just melt away.
Allow yourself this time to go within and let your body completely relax.
Relax.
Relax all the muscles in your face.
Soften the space between your eyebrows.
Relax your jaw and allow the tongue to fall off the roof of your mouth.
Feeling the shoulders get heavy.
And allow anywhere that you're holding tension in your body to just melt away.
Now imagine that you have roots coming out of the base of your spine.
Send these grounding roots down,
Down,
Down into the earth through all the layers of rock and sand and dirt.
Sending them into the molten core of the earth.
You're just allowing anything that does not serve you to be sent lovingly down,
Down into the core of the earth.
And bringing up anything you need up lovingly from the core of Mother Earth.
And just imagine that these roots are tied into the center of earth.
Now imagine that you are lying in a beautiful field.
A field of wildflowers,
A meadow,
And the wind is blowing gently across the grass.
Can you hear the wind blowing?
Feel it against your skin?
You look lovingly up at the sky.
It's a beautiful sunny day.
You see the clouds gently floating by.
You are completely relaxed,
Enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Mother Earth.
And off in the distance,
You see a beautiful forest beckoning.
Allow yourself to get up and walk over to the forest.
You get to the edge of the forest,
And curiosity drives you to enter.
Look around you.
What does your forest look like?
Imagine the trees,
The sounds,
The feel of the air on your skin.
And just begin walking down a path through the forest.
What does the path look like?
Does it have rocks,
Or gravel,
Or grass?
Just allow your curiosity to begin to take you down this path.
Just walking slowly,
Taking note of what's around you,
Soaking in all the beautiful smells and sights and sounds of this amazing forest.
And as you keep walking down the path,
You see a clearing in the woods further down the path.
Allow your curiosity to slowly take you to this clearing.
And once you step through the clearing,
You come upon a body of water.
Is it a lake,
Or a stream,
A river,
A creek?
Just notice this body of water.
And as you come through this clearing,
You come upon a lovely,
Beautifully flowing river.
It's fairly wide.
It's a nice big river.
And the water's just gently flowing down.
And you find yourself coming up to the shores of the river and just walking down the bank.
You look further down the river,
And you see a bridge going across the river.
Keep walking toward the bridge,
Just allowing yourself to soak in the sights of the beautiful river,
The smell,
The sound it makes,
As you walk slowly and deliberately toward the bridge.
You get to the bridge,
And you notice across the bridge there is a figure,
A person.
And your curiosity gets the better of you,
So start to cross the bridge slowly.
And as you walk across this bridge,
This figure also steps closer and closer to you.
There's no fear or anxiety about this figure.
It feels so natural,
And their presence is very grounding and assuring to you.
And just begin to walk closer across the bridge.
You begin to realize that this figure looks just like you.
Perhaps it is a version of you.
Just allow yourself to walk closer.
And you realize that this version of you is your ideal self.
It is the version of you that has called into your life everything that your heart desires.
And as you look at this version of yourself,
Just allow yourself to feel what this version,
This best version of you feels in their body,
In their heart,
In their mind.
Just imagine what it would feel like to have become this best version of yourself.
Allow all of those emotions to wash over you.
Do you feel elation?
Do you feel alignment?
Do you feel joy?
Do you feel power?
Do you feel love?
Just allow it to become.
And as you reach out,
Reach your hand out toward this version of yourself,
You notice that this version reaches their hand out too.
And then suddenly make a great realization that you are just looking into a mirror,
And that this version of yourself already exists within you,
Within the mirror.
You already are this version of yourself.
So right now,
Reach out and allow the mirror to dissolve,
Become this version of yourself because you already are.
And now you are standing on the bridge in all your glory,
Your power,
Your radiance,
Shining your divine light.
This is you.
How does it feel?
Allow the magnificent emotions to lift your spirit and become this.
And as you slowly cross back over the bridge,
Coming back to the shoreline,
You're walking.
You're walking in your power.
You are walking in your best version of yourself that is already within you.
Come back to the shore.
Feel the sand or rock or dirt under your feet.
And just take a moment here to have a seat by the river and just be with yourself.
Be with these feelings.
Be with this energy.
Just feel it anchor into your body from the base of your spine all the way up through the crown of your head.
Anchor this feeling,
This high vibrational feeling into your body.
Feel it in your heart center.
And take a few deep breaths here.
Never forgetting that you already exist in this best version of yourself and you are capable and it is within you.
One more big deep breath.
And allow your awareness to come back into your body and come back to where you're sitting or lying down.
You can wiggle your fingers and toes.
You can rub your fingers against your thumb.
Let's slowly wake up our bodies.
You can stretch your arms overhead,
Stretch your feet long,
Roll your shoulders out.
Take a couple deep breaths.
And whenever you're ready you can flutter your eyes open.
Remember everything you want is within you.
You are powerful.
You are capable.
You are amazing.
