So welcome to this tapping session to reawaken your relationship with money.
Now money can carry quite a lot of emotional weight.
I know that for some of us,
Myself included,
It's connected to kind of deeper experiences around things like survival,
Scarcity,
Shame,
Loss or family patterns.
So if anything in this session does bring up strong feelings,
Then please do be kind and gentle to yourself.
Remembering that you're always welcome to pause,
Breathe or step away if that feels right for you.
Okay then,
So before we start tapping,
Let's just kind of arrive here together if you like.
And we're going to do that through a nice slow breath in through the nose.
So nice big inhale here.
All the way down,
Let your tummy expand.
And then exhaling slowly out through the mouth,
Just letting go on the exhale as we come into this space together.
And now breathing softly and gently.
I'd like you to just first of all place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.
And just feel yourself being here in this moment.
Reminding yourself that in this tapping session,
We're not here today to fix anything.
We're just here to listen.
We're here to soften.
And we're going to gently meet whatever's been sitting in the background around money.
Okay,
Well done.
So let's start tapping now.
So tapping on the side of the hand,
Repeating after me either in your mind or out loud.
And feel free to change any wording to suit you as well.
Even though I've been feeling tense,
Shut down or numb about money,
I acknowledge these feelings with care.
Even though money has felt like a source of worry,
Fear or even shame.
Like something I'd rather not look at too closely right now.
I choose to go gently with myself,
With compassion.
Even though I'm not quite sure what my relationship with money even is.
Because it's been complicated,
Emotional or hard.
I'm here now.
And I deeply and completely love,
Honour and accept myself.
So now moving to the eyebrow point.
All this tension around money.
All this tension around money.
Side of the eye.
It's been sitting here for a while.
Under the eye.
This tightness when I think about money.
Under the nose.
This heaviness I carry.
Under the chin point.
All the worry,
All the fear.
Collarbone point.
Money has felt so hard.
So I've kind of shut off from it.
Under the arm.
I've been holding on to so much when it comes to money.
Top of the head.
And it's felt easier to ignore it or suppress it all.
Okay,
So we're going to the next round now.
So we're just going to go a little bit deeper into what money has meant.
And that means that sometimes we carry all these old stories or old fears.
And these are things that we might have heard or absorbed long ago.
So we don't need to analyse them.
We just need to let them be here.
Okay,
So tapping on the eyebrow points.
Breathing softly.
There's so much that I have felt about money.
Side of the eye.
Under the chin point.
Sometimes it feels like there will never be enough.
Under the eye.
Sometimes it feels like I'm doing it wrong somehow.
Under the nose.
It's like other people understand something that I just don't.
Chin points.
All this shame,
All this confusion.
Collarbone points.
Money and fear have become tangled up together.
And as we tap here on the collarbone,
Just allow yourself to notice how your relationship with money has been over the years.
You might like to close your eyes as you tune in a little bit here.
There's no need to kind of dig around or over-analyse anything.
Just taking a really soft glance back.
Tapping and breathing with a gentle compassion for yourself.
And maybe you can trace some of these feelings quite a long way back.
Maybe there was a message around money that you absorbed in childhood.
Maybe something that you heard about money.
Something you witnessed.
Maybe there was a time when things felt easier with money.
Just thinking about when things may have shifted for you or started for you.
And if money has always felt a little bit complicated,
That's okay too.
Whatever comes up,
Just let it be here.
You don't need to do anything with it right now.
This is just a moment of kind,
Curious noticing.
With compassion,
Of course.
Okay,
Well done.
So back to tapping now under the arm.
Somewhere along the way,
I learned to feel a certain way about money.
Top of the head.
All these feelings around money are starting to make sense.
Maybe they've made sense for a while.
Eyebrow point.
So as we tap here,
Just allow yourself to soften a little bit.
You might like to take a breath,
Relax your jaw,
Just let your shoulders drop.
And repeating after me,
What if I could begin to soften around money?
What if I could begin to soften around money?
Side of the eye.
Just a little.
Just for now.
So tapping slowly,
Gently.
Under the eye.
I don't have to figure everything out today.
Under the nose.
What if money doesn't have to feel like a threat?
Chin point.
What if I could begin to soften around money?
What if I could begin to feel a little safer here?
Collarbone point.
I'm open to that,
Even just a little.
And as a reminder here,
You're doing that through tapping,
You know,
You're opening,
Calming through the nervous system.
Under the arm.
There is a part of me that wants a different relationship with money.
Top of the head.
And I am awakening and opening to that now.
Back now to the eyebrow points.
So in this round,
We're just going to give your body a bit of permission to release.
Going to let go of some of that old tension.
Old fears and let those old stories loosen a little.
So repeating after me.
I release the fear around money.
I release the fear around money.
Side of the eye.
I let go of the old stories,
Tales and learned patterns.
Under the eye,
I release the tension in my body.
And we hold so much on our bodies.
So just take a moment here to really feel into that release as you tap.
So breathing softly,
Just noticing any areas of the body that might feel a bit tight or tense or heavy.
Commonly when it comes to money,
This might be felt quite low in the belly.
Maybe somewhere around the solar plexus area and that place just below your ribs.
Maybe there's a sense of hollowness there or a kind of bracing almost.
It's almost like the body's been kind of holding its breath around this top of the head.
And it's been holding that topic for a very long time.
You might also notice it across your neck or shoulders,
That kind of metaphorical carrying the weight of financial worries or stresses.
Maybe it's in your jaw.
Perhaps your jaw has been feeling a bit tight or clenched from financial stress.
Where it's hard to talk about money.
And some people even feel it down lower than that.
So it could be in the hips or legs or even feet.
And there may be a sense of kind of being in that fight or flight or freeze.
Many of us go into that kind of freeze response where we're just like,
Oh,
I can't move when it comes to money.
Or there could be this sort of feeling a bit restless,
Like you almost want to run away.
Because it's hard to stay and face finances to look at those money issues.
So wherever you're feeling this in your body,
Just place your awareness there really gently with compassion.
Don't need to force anything to release if it's not ready.
But try and breathe into that place as you tap.
Breathe into it.
And on those exhales,
Just imagine that area softening or letting go just a tiny bit.
Just enough.
With each tap,
With each breath,
You are sending those calming signals.
You're saying to your body,
You're safe.
You can let this go.
You don't need to carry all this anymore.
I'll just give you a moment to take a few more breaths here.
Really letting go on those exhales.
Well done.
Great release there.
So let's go back to tapping now.
So tapping under the nose.
I give my nervous system permission to settle.
Chin points.
I release any shame.
I release any guilt or worry.
Collarbone points.
I let my body soften around this topic.
Under the arm.
I'm safe to be present.
Present with money.
Top of the head.
I let it all begin to flow a little more freely.
Okay,
So for the next round,
We're just going to try and invite in a bit of kind of safety and grounding.
Just opening the door and seeing what light comes in for a moment.
So tapping on the eyebrow points.
Money can be a source of support in my life.
Maybe that could be true.
Side of the eye.
I'm allowed to feel safe around money.
Under the eye.
I can learn a new way of relating to money.
Under the nose.
Maybe there's some ease available to me now.
Chin points.
I'm open to money feeling a bit lighter.
Collarbone points.
I'm open to a more gentle,
More relaxed way of being.
Flowing relationship with money.
Under the arm.
I can trust myself to take those gentle steps.
And remember,
This is all about going really slowly and gently.
Being kind to yourself as you do so.
Top of the head.
Money and me are finding a new way to be together.
Well done.
So let's do one final round and kind of anchor in what's true and what's possible.
Tapping on the eyebrow points.
I am more than my financial situation.
Side of the eye.
I am a person of deep worth.
I am a person of deep worth.
And I really would love for you to feel into that,
Knowing that no matter how much or little you have,
No matter what your relationship with money is,
You are worthy and you are enough.
Under the eye.
I deserve to feel safe,
Calm and supported when it comes to money.
Under the nose.
I trust that things can shift.
Chin points.
I welcome money as a supportive presence in my life.
Under the arm.
I am grounded.
I am open.
I am here.
Top of the head.
I am awake.
I am open.
And I welcome abundance into my life.
Okay,
So just stop tapping there.
Take a breath.
And just take a moment to notice how you feel now compared to when we began.
Maybe things feel a little softer,
A little lighter.
Maybe something's gently shifted or awakened within.
Whatever is here is enough.
And just know that you might still experience some shifts or insights beyond this session.
So be gentle with yourself for the rest of the day.
And well done for showing up for yourself.
You're doing beautifully.
Thank you so much for tapping with me.
Take care of yourself.
