I'm taking a couple of relaxed breaths in and out.
I want you to settle in for the next couple of moments.
For the next few adventures that we will take together.
And this adventure will take place on the shores of the big island of Hawaii.
And this adventure is over.
Kind of a little journey to see if we can find some sea turtles.
And so.
.
.
We are going to start looking along the Kona side of the island,
Close to the airport,
Kind of close to Kona.
Kailua-Kona and we are going to take a little bit of a walk.
There's a beautiful path to just by the boat harbour.
And this path has lush trees,
Sand,
Some rocks of course,
Some beautiful birds.
And so I want you to see yourself walking along this pathway towards the water,
Not being able to see it,
But knowing it's there on the other side of the trees.
And as you walk along.
You know that this place often has green sea turtles.
But you aren't sure if you will be lucky enough to see one today.
So either way we enjoy this beautiful scenery and we smell that clean air,
The ocean air,
The smell of flowers.
Feeling the sunshine,
The gentle breeze.
And as we come through the little opening of trees to the very small beach area,
We noticed that the tide is actually coming in and so the beach is only.
.
.
Two or three feet.
In depth before this water,
The ocean is.
And the waves are pretty rough and so we decide to just walk along noticing a fisherman off in the distance fishing from the shore.
Down a little bit further are a couple of families playing in the water.
And so we just take our time walking along this beach and just scouring the water with our eyes looking to see if we can catch a glimpse of any sea turtles.
And as we are watching the water we notice that the waves are moving quite a bit and we also see it's very rocky very rocky within the area so it's not a sandy beach where the water is it's very rocky and coral there's a lot of algae and so just as we're kind of looking through this water and wondering if we're possibly going to see a sea turtle we notice some movement under the water.
So we stop and kind of watch for a couple of moments and a beautiful little sea turtle head pops above the water.
And quickly dips back under.
And we look around and we can actually notice the outline underwater of the sea turtle.
And so we stand and watch,
Just hoping that he's going to pop his head through again.
And watching as the waves are knocking him around.
But he's eating this algae under the water.
And also munching on the leaves that are falling from the trees above us that are floating on the water.
And he is having a feast.
And so we just watch.
We watch this beautiful moment,
The sea turtle.
This absolutely magical opportunity to just share time and space,
Keeping a very healthy distance.
From the sea turtle.
And we notice some more movement close by in the water as well.
And it's another sea turtle.
And these sea turtles are not huge.
But they're a medium,
Medium size.
End.
These sea turtles are just being knocked around in the waves,
But it's not stopping them from having their feast.
And they're eating the leaves from the surface and they're underneath and eating the algae and the plants.
And the more that we stand and just look out at the water,
The more turtles we notice.
And there are heads appearing above water looking at us,
Checking us out,
Wondering what we are doing.
And diving back under and continuing to eat.
And we pull a couple of the yellow leaves that are just about to fall off of the tree that we have noticed the sea turtles are loving to munch on.
And we just throw those over in the water just to give them an extra little snack.
Keeping our distance,
Keeping 20 feet away from these beautiful creatures.
Just watching,
Admiring.
Just being in this moment.
Sending love and respect for the Hanu.
That's the Hawaiian word for sea turtle.
Then the beautiful sea turtles come closer,
But then swim away.
Then the waves bring them back in and pull them back out.
And you feel this overwhelming peace come over you.
This tranquil moment.
The settling deep within your soul and you fully accept it.
You accept the gift from the Hanu.
The gift of peace.
And in return,
You send your aloha,
Your love,
Your respect.
Anything else that you want to add to send to these beautiful creatures to thank them for greasing us with their presence.
The sea turtles take one last look.
There are about eight to ten of them now,
All popping their heads up at different moments.
And they turn and swim out to sea.
Some of them have flipped their front fin out as if waving goodbye.
So we wave and send them more aloha.
Just feeling so,
So gifted in this moment.
So I want you to see yourself standing at the edge of the water as those sea turtles fade off into the distance,
Closing your eyes.
And just breathing easily.
Feeling gratitude once again.
Coming back into your physical body.
Back where we started this journey together.
And maybe moving your arms and legs around.
And wiggling your fingers.
When you're ready,
Opening up your eyes.
Taking a nice deep breath in.
And out.
Thank you for visiting the sea turtles with me.
Namaste,
Peace,
And awesomeness to you and yours.
