There is no space for Asc Alex Mohammed.
I am enough.
I have enough.
I do enough.
I am enough.
When was the last time you spoke these words to yourself,
Dear one?
You are so quick to acknowledge and celebrate the radiance of others.
When was the last time that you looked in the mirror and acknowledged your own?
You lead with an open heart of trust,
Giving everyone around you the benefit of the doubt.
Even if you pretend to have that tough exterior.
When was the last time that you softened and listened and trusted in your own knowing?
You do enough.
You have enough.
You are enough.
The lives that we lead have multiple chapters,
Some of adventure and some seemingly mundane in between.
This life is filled with stories,
Some fables that we can learn from and not to be taken too seriously.
There are paragraphs drizzled in with the sweetness of honey that remind us that fairy tales can come true.
Others deeply ingrained in the pages of the reality of our souls.
There is fiction and there is none.
The gift that we have been given in this lifetime is to be the author of these chapters.
It is easy to forget that we have been given this gift as we turn it into a burden when we find ourselves lost in the middle of a dark wood.
We ask ourselves questions like,
What have I done and how could I have gotten here?
Forgetting that this journey into the woods is beckoning to the continuation of our growth.
The rediscovery of our truth,
That light that you are so quick to see in others is a direct reflection of your own.
That trust that you so willingly give is the fruit of your own knowing.
When doubt sets in,
We lose sight of the quill or the pen or the pencil in hand.
Sometimes we even hand it over so we no longer have to take responsibility for the outcome at the end of the page.
But that,
Dear one,
Is where the beauty resides.
The intention of light,
Of trust,
Of knowing,
Of enough.
With which your hand is guided by your heart will not lead you astray.
We let the fiction take over and forget the reality of the beauty of what is real.
What is true?
What is you?
And perhaps you found yourself in the middle of a dark wood wondering which tree the wolf is lurking behind.
Perhaps you find yourself in the middle of a living fairy tale and begin to let doubt creep in,
Not allowing yourself to fully experience the magic as you wait for the other shoe to drop.
Rest easy,
Dear one.
This life is messy.
This life is beautiful.
This life is everything it has brought you to right now.
And that is so much more than enough.
None of it has been a mistake,
Dear one.
Simply another sentence giving life to another paragraph that is making up this epic novel that is your beautiful life.
Pick up the pen,
The quill,
The pencil,
And trust that your hand will be guided by your heart.
And that is enough.
My dear,
Why do you doubt your light?
My love,
Why do you question your knowing?
My friend,
Why do you not believe you are already more than enough?
The reality that you are living is being written by you.
My darling,
You are light.
Your intention is sharp.
You have enough.
You do enough.
You are enough.
You already are what you want to become.
Turn the page.
