If you have the space to stand,

Please come to a standing position.

If you are more comfortable sitting,

Please do so with your feet on the surface beneath.

Imagine the earth connecting with your feet.

Notice the different points where your feet and the earth connect.

At each point,

Imagine roots running down into the earth.

These roots bring up energy and strength into your feet,

Your legs and your torso.

Imagine as though they were the trunk of a strong yet flexible tree.

Feel the energy flow into your arms.

Imagine as if they were branches of your tree.

Perhaps imagining breeze running through the leaves of your branches.

Feel the energy and strength enter your head,

The top of your tree,

Full of bright colourful leaves.

Perhaps notice if there are any birds sitting in your branches.

Now feel the warmth of the sun beating down upon your tree,

Upon you.

Warmth entering into your head,

Your neck,

Your arms,

Your torso,

Your legs and your feet.

You are warm,

Energised and strong.
