The following meditation will help you release anything you'd like to let go of right now.

We accumulate so much stuff throughout the day,

Throughout the week.

Tension,

To-do's,

Thoughts,

Experiences,

People's energy.

So this practice is designed to help to cleanse your own internal space.

You can start by calling to mind one,

Maybe two,

Things you would like to release right now.

Something you want to get off your mind,

An emotion you would like to move out of your body,

A recurring thought,

Or even just a feeling of tension or stress that you've been carrying.

Imagining that this practice is like an internal cleansing.

So what would you like to cleanse yourself of today?

And bringing that into your mind.

And as you identify what it is that you would like to let go of today,

Take a moment to notice where this has been taking up space in your body and in your mind.

So maybe this is a heaviness that you feel in your body.

Maybe it's a thought that keeps popping up into your mind.

Maybe it's a feeling in your gut or something else.

Simply identifying and noticing where this is taking up space in your body and any sensations that arise as you focus in on this thing.

And once that becomes clear,

You can imagine that a roaring fire or flame appears in front of you.

And allowing this flame,

This fire,

To be really vibrant in your mind.

Maybe you can see it swirling and flickering around.

Maybe you can feel its warmth on your body,

On your face,

On your skin.

Noticing how tall this fire is in front of you.

Allowing it to be big and full of life.

This fire can alchemize,

Cleanse,

Destroy,

Release anything that you throw into it.

So just noticing the ability and the power of this fire to cleanse,

To transmute,

Whatever it is that you're carrying.

Taking a moment to let the power of this fire settle in your body and in your mind.

Recognizing the creative destruction that fire offers.

And so when you're ready,

You'll imagine that you can pull out of your body whatever it is that you're carrying that you would like to let go of.

And put it right in front of you,

Holding it in your hands.

Maybe you can even physically go through the motion of pulling this out of your body,

Wherever it's been living.

Maybe it's in your chest,

In your head,

In your heart.

Pulling it out and holding it in front of you.

Just noticing the sensation of pulling this out of your body and observing it.

Observing it in front of you.

Taking a moment to connect,

To send gratitude,

To take this final moment.

And as I count down from three to one,

You'll allow yourself to throw this thing into the fire.

This feeling,

This thought,

This heaviness,

Whatever it is.

Getting ready to do that now for three.

Preparing for this final release for two.

And one.

Throwing this into the fire and watching it get consumed by this flame.

Noticing how your body can feel lighter as you release this into the fire.

And taking a moment to just observe this with awe,

With appreciation.

With your next few moments,

You can notice if there is anything else you want to pull out and throw and release,

Offering it to the fire.

Allowing this practice to be intuitive,

To feel into what you can let go of right now.

What you can offer into the fire.

Pulling it out and throwing it in.

Taking a deep inhale in and letting this fully out,

Maybe with a loud noise or a sigh.

As you start to feel lighter,

More spacious inside.

Giving thanks to this fire as you slowly come back into your body and back into your breath.

And when you're ready,

You can go ahead and open your eyes.
