Hello,
I am Stacey Foley and I am so grateful that you have chosen me to help guide you into a deep and restful sleep.
Often we can find it difficult to rest peacefully as our minds are constantly full of chatter.
Tonight I am going to help you find stillness in your mind so you can drift off easily and wake up feeling rested and rejuvenated.
I invite you now to get comfortable lying down either in your bed or somewhere you can easily fall asleep.
This meditation will help you become so relaxed that none of the outside world concerns will matter to you.
Now that you are comfortable,
Gently take one last look at your surroundings.
This is what you will see when you rise from your rest.
And now allow your eyes to gently close.
Start by taking a nice deep breath in,
Expanding your body as much as you can.
And as you exhale,
Release any tension that sits in your body.
Breathe in again fully and breathe out any worries or concerns.
Now I would like for you to bring your focus to the soles of your feet.
They have nowhere to take you right now so they can fully let go.
Feel your feet relax and become heavy.
As you breathe in,
Imagine your breath traveling all the way from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.
And as you breathe out,
Feel your body relax completely and melt into the surface below you.
Take another deep breath in and imagine an ocean wave covering you from head to toe and bringing with it a deep sense of peace.
And as you breathe out,
The waves move down your body and back into the ocean.
Allow your breath now to flow naturally.
Feel your chest rise and fall as the rhythm deepens and slows down.
Follow along with your breath as if you are watching the ocean waves crash on the sand.
In and out,
Your breath flows as you sink deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.
Listen to your breath like the whisper of the waves in and out.
In and out,
Relaxing,
Letting go and enjoying this moment of complete serenity.
As you continue to relax,
Allow your thoughts to come and go into your mind.
Like the waves on the beach,
They are gentle and ever-moving.
Let your thoughts be like the breeze blowing by in a puffy white cloud.
Feel them come and see them go,
Each thought allowing you to become even more calm and relaxed as you simply watch them pass by.
Feel your body slowing down as you prepare for sleep.
A gentle calmness fills your soul with each breath.
Your breath is steady,
Slow,
Relaxed.

The sensations bringing you deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.

Allow yourself now to become aware of the pillow supporting your head.
Feel its softness as it guides you to sleep.
You are ready now to drift off into a peaceful slumber.
The rhythm of your body is slowing down to the perfect pace.
It is time for you to fully let go.
Let go of the day you just experienced.
Let go of the expectations for tomorrow.
All you need to do is rest,
Relax and rejuvenate.
Slowly,
You are sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Slowing down,
Becoming very calm and peaceful.
Remember the gentle hush of your breath like the whispering of the waves in and out as you drift further and further to sleep.
