Welcome to your micro energetic grounding practice.
I'll invite you to find a comfortable position,
Whether that's seated or lying down.
And if it feels good,
Allow your eyes to close or come into a soft focus.
And as you're settling in,
I'll invite you to notice the ground beneath you.
Notice the supportive structure that is holding you and notice yourself within gravity.
Allow yourself to start to feel heavy.
And then sense,
Feel,
Or just imagine that you have tendrils coming out from the bottom of your feet,
From your spine,
Or any contact that you're making with the surface beneath you.
These tendrils might be roots,
They might be more mycelial,
Or like vine.
Whatever comes to you is perfect.
Allow these subtle tendrils to continue to grow out from your body and root into the ground beneath you.
As they move deeper towards the earth's core,
You feel yourself becoming more and more bound to the spot you're in.
And as you sense,
Feel,
Or imagine these tendrils holding you into the earth,
I invite you to notice the connection that you have with our natural world.
What does it feel like to be supported by the earth?
I want you to acknowledge giving yourself permission to feel supported here.
Imagine the tendrils continuing to spread both deeper and wider as you continue to be present with the connection of our earth and the support you are receiving from the earth.
And now I'll invite you to take a breath in through your nose,
And as you breathe out through your nose or mouth,
Imagine you're sending the breath down through the tendrils into the earth.
In through the nose,
And feel the breath leaving through the base of your spine or the bottoms of your feet as you exhale.
Another breath in through the nose,
And imagine it leaving into the ground.
One more,
In through the nose,
And slow and steadily out,
Coming back into your body,
Feeling grounded.
You can return by beginning to wiggle your fingers and your toes,
And when you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
