The new moon is our time for renewal, new beginnings, and starting over. Use this powerful meditation to tune into what you want to create + manifest + put into motion this lunar cycle. Use this practice every new moon, to help support your lunar living, or to dive deeper into living intentionally with the lunar cycle.

Welcome to this new moon meditation.

I invite you to take a moment and get comfortable,

Whether that is sitting with your spine erect or laying down.

Whatever feels true for you in this moment.

I'll also invite you to turn off any distractions where possible.

And when you are ready,

Just breathe comfortably for a moment.

As you breathe,

Take note of any places in the body where you might be holding tension.

Any squeezing or tightening.

And relax those muscles as you continue to breathe.

I invite you to close your eyes if it feels comfortable for you and take a full deep breath in.

Pause for a moment at the top of your inhale and then fully release your breath.

And pause for a brief moment at the bottom of your exhale.

Another full breath in,

Feeling your belly,

Your lungs,

Your chest expanding.

Pause briefly at the top and with a controlled release,

Breathing out.

Followed by a short pause before your next inhale.

I'll allow a moment here for you to repeat this.

Take a few rounds of this breath and really tune into how you feel at each phase.

In,

Pause,

Out,

Pause.

With each breath,

Notice what you experience in your physical body.

What you experience in your emotional body.

In your mental body.

And if it feels good to you,

Also explore what you notice in your spiritual body if you feel connected to that frame.

Tune in to the increased feelings of relaxation.

The new moon is in the space between the dark moon and the waxing moon.

It's mirrored by that space,

That brief pause between your exhale and your next inhale.

In your body,

You may have experienced everything drawing inwards or downwards into this empty space during the end of your exhale and in that brief space before your next new breath.

There is stillness and very little energy.

There is simply being in that void,

Pausing and resting until you begin to inhale again,

Bringing energy back to your body.

The new moon is our time for renewal,

New beginnings and starting over.

Just as the pause following our exhale signals it is time for our new breath,

The beginning of our next breath cycle.

Continue breathing in,

Short pause and out,

Followed by a short pause.

Deep breath in,

Pause at the top of the breath.

Slowly exhale and pause when your lungs are empty before filling them again.

As you breathe,

Tune in to your inner knowing.

You will find that your intuition and self-awareness are still heightened at a new moon and you are able to get clear and focused on what you want and need.

Sit with this knowing and be curious to whatever arises.

You don't need to think here,

Just bring your awareness to your heart and see what your intuition may bring you as you continue breathing.

Zee The New Moon gives you the opportunity to take conscious control over your life.

If you're new to living with the lunar cycles and new to this meditation,

Perhaps start small in what you want to work on creating and manifesting for this cycle.

Let's drop that in.

Bring your awareness to your heart and continue breathing.

There's no need to cognitively figure out the answer to this question,

But instead remain open to whatever arises as you tune into this.

What am I going to work on creating and manifesting and putting into motion?

Live and allow.

Keep breathing and visualize or imagine all of your inner desires,

Goals,

Hopes and dreams and let them surface.

This is the time that you can get the most clarity on what you want in life and most importantly how you can get there.

I will give you a few minutes of silence here to allow you to get clear and have your inner knowing bring up your desires for this lunar cycle.

Take a few more breaths,

Aligning with your desire.

And now allow yourself to feel the gratitude for the desires,

The goals,

Hopes and dreams that arose for you as if they've already come to fruition.

Allow the gratitude to fill you.

Feel the delighted energy rise up from your feet,

Through your shins and calves,

Then knees and thighs.

Let that gratitude continue to rise through your pelvis and root,

Filling your stomach and solar plexus,

Rising up through your lungs,

Your heart,

Your chest and back body.

In through your shoulders and spilling into your arms and hands.

Feel the gratitude and energy of your desires being actualized fill and rise through your throat and neck,

Your jaw,

Your head and forehead and right up through your crown,

Allowing it to spill out and over your entire being.

Bring your focus back to your breath as you bask in this beautiful energy that surrounds and fills your entire being.

In,

Pause,

Out,

Pause,

In and out.

In and out.

Start to wiggle your toes and your fingers,

Coming back into your current reality,

Back into your body.

When you are ready,

You may slowly blink your eyes open if they were closed.

I invite you to take this energy with you through this new moon period,

This brand new cycle and with it,

The darkness starts to lift and the way forward becomes clear.

Believe in yourself and your hopes and dreams.

The new moon is like a blank canvas upon which you can create anything you want.

You can take time here to journal about your experience or simply continue with your day.
