Hello and welcome back to the 20 day meditation challenge.
Today we are on day 13.
Today we're going to be focusing on what we wish to call in for this new year.
We're gonna be calling this in from a place of our soul's desires.
What that means is we're gonna be pulling away any societal conditioning,
Things we think we should have,
Over what we truly desire.
Essentially,
We're gonna be balancing nature versus nurture.
So when you're ready,
Go ahead and set up your space.
Pause the recording if you need.
Finding a comfortable seated position or lying down.
And we'll begin.
And if you haven't already done so,
Closing down your physical eyes.
Beginning to become aware of your breathing.
The natural rise and fall of the abdomen as you happen to breathe.
And then visualizing yourself standing in your favorite space in nature.
Allowing yourself to arrive here and taking in the surroundings,
Taking in the space.
And then invite in your inner child.
Call them to the space of nature.
Whatever age comes to mind,
Allow them to be here with you.
Ask them to show you what they love doing.
You offer them your hand.
They place theirs in yours.
And they take you on a journey,
Showing you their favorite places.
Their favorite things.
Their favorite books.
Activities they like to do.
Just taking your time,
Soaking this all in.
Letting the younger version of you show you what they deeply enjoy.
What they love to do.
And so take your time.
And when you're done,
You land back at your favorite space in nature.
You look at them and thank them for their honesty and for trusting you with what their soul truly loves and desires.
You embrace one another with a loving hug.
And the younger version of you disappears off into the distance.
You stand here absorbing everything the younger version of you showed your adult self.
And you think for a moment,
How do these tasks,
How do these activities,
These places,
Things,
Translate into adulthood?
Perhaps the younger version of yourself loved reading books about nature and animals.
Maybe this translates to your soul desiring to spend more time in nature around animals.
Perhaps your younger version loved to color and paint.
Maybe that translates today to you taking time to express yourself creatively.
See if you can start to draw some parallels between what the younger version of you loved to do.
And if the adult version of you would also love to explore a version of this,
Take your time.
And then when you're ready to,
Start thinking of a list of things you would like to call in the year ahead.
And as you go through the list,
In your mind's eye,
Noting how each of these items can be traced back to the things your inner child loves.
And if it cannot,
Ask yourself,
Do I want this because society thinks I should have it?
Because I've been believed I need it to be happy?
Or does my soul deeply desire this on an authentic level?
So take your time crafting this list in your mind's eye.
And when you've completed your list,
Bring your awareness back to the And then taking five to ten minutes to write down this list in your journal.
So coming up when you're ready.
And I'll see you tomorrow.
