Let's take a good posture.
Let's connect with the breath.
The breath is like an river of energy,
Flowing,
Adjusting,
Transforming itself to the needs of the present moment.
It's not only the breath,
The whole body is a river of energy,
Adjusting,
Transforming,
Constantly to the present moment.
The blood flowing through your veins,
Veins and arteries.
We have rivers upon rivers of flowing energy in the body,
Even along the spine,
The spinal fluid.
The mind is also like a river,
A river of thoughts,
Images.
Emotions are like waves that arise and subside within us.
Everything within and without is a changing flowing river of life.
And yet in all that change and transformation there's a stillness,
There is a spaciousness,
There is awareness of it all.
In the form there is constant change.
Nothing of what you think you are remains.
But in the formless there is stillness,
There's the changeless,
Eternal being.
Can you feel those two aspects of your being?
The changing and the changeless.
Now we get identified with the forms and shapes and thoughts and feelings,
We get identified with the word.
Then we become rigid,
We become attached,
We might even become dogmatic.
So yoga teaches vedagya,
Detachment,
Releasing,
Letting go.
You are a river,
Life is a river,
Nothing will remain the same,
And that is good.
Allow the change,
Allow the death and rebirth of your own being,
Because that's your true nature.
Soften the heart,
Embrace your true self,
A flowing river of life.
The past,
The present,
And the future are all in existence,
In the same way that a river,
And the whole of the river is in existence.
Time is a river,
You are a river.
Feel your own flowing,
Allow for the transformation.
Find your solace in awareness.
Your true identity.
How would your life be if you let the river flow?
